How You Create Connections When You Welcome People
A strong bond follows with a happy smile
Greeting dear family and friends,
Reciprocal wishes you a warm welcome! I welcome you all with a smile.
The power of a beautiful welcome makes the bonds become stronger. You can see me grinning all over. 😍 I add a broad smile too 😀
How do you feel? You have a feeling of warmth and happiness that I care for you.🧡
This is how I feel when people come and meet me. I feel happy and pleasant and want to open my arms and greet everyone. I feel inspired to do something good.
How do you receive people when they come home?
I receive people with a smile! I usually have flowers in the house to decorate it and make it pleasant for people.
My house has some paintings and pictures which some people may think are dust catchers but I like them. They look cheerful.
If I was an artist like Monoreena Acharjee Majumdar or Ali or Lady Dr. Gabriella Korosi I would greet you with my own paintings. If I was like Mark Armstrong I would make beautiful illustrations to make connections and strong bonds of love and friendship with you.
I am what I am and I have a warm heart and happy face to greet you.
I will strongly recommend some of the things that i do to create connections and strong bonds of friendship.
How to make connections of the heart
By connections, I do not mean mercenary connections.
I mean the bonds of love, friendship, and continued relationship as a connection with people.
What do I do?
I do very simple things
- Smile: I connect with people through an honest smile from the heart. A smile creates an instant connection. It weaves a bond if the smile is returned with warmth. If it is not returned I try again as long as I can. Most of the time I do succeed but there can be failures too at times.
- Spend quality time: When I make friends it is not a one-time thing. It is a connection that continues by giving my time, trust, and belief to the other person. I never have a desire for benefit.
- Be in continuous touch: Connections do not last if there is no continuity. These days it is the digital world. It has to be an ongoing message or feeling or emotions to show your affection for the other person.
- Where there is a long break: It takes time to get back. Sometimes you are not able to keep up due to health issues but when you can you may just send a hello emoji or GIF so that the other person knows you care.
A friend of mine had covid. Somehow I missed the group message. When I called her up she was livid with anger.
“Where were you when others were giving me their wishes to get well soon”? She said. “Sorry, I did not see the message I was wrapped up somewhere else” I said.
I had not been focused and did not read any message and which lead to a problem. She had a large heart and she forgave me.
So when you make connections you have to be focused and large-hearted because many such situations arise in life and we have to learn to be accommodating and accepting of human faults.
5. Reciprocity: Bonds of friendship and connections last only when there is reciprocity. Quite often things are started with a bang but after a while, it fizzles out.
I have noticed this in many reading clubs. You read all those who are members when you are prompted but the others do not respond it fizzles out and makes the soda water become flat. Then you feel unwanted.
I liked the article by Sahil Patel on Reciprocity can change your life. In his words “ We at Reciprocal trying to build a community of reciprocators who are willing to help others. We want you to help us by showing your support and being a part of this community.”
To wrap up!
Let us build strong connections with people and be inspired to keep up with reciprocity and affection. We must greet people with a smile and happiness and think of long-term relationships. Forgive small errors and continue with reciprocity.
“Connecting with others gives us a sense of inclusion, connection, interaction, safety, and community. Your vibe attracts your tribe, so if you want to attract positive and healthy relationships, be one! Staying connected and getting reconnected feeds the flow of goodness which empowers our humanity.” ― Susan C. Young
