Call it a hunch or just curiosity; I searched for the term “Sidewalk” on Medium as I wanted to see other articles on the same topic. After I saw a few related posts, I saw the same titles of articles in a row as I scrolled down. I clicked a few of them and saw; they have precisely the same content. They are different Medium users. I couldn’t think of any other reason than they are stealing and cashing in on it. I see all those articles have links pointing to other posts that belong to a major tech website. I looked up that article online, and as expected, I see that article published on that website. Pity they forgot to remove the hyperlinks on the post.

“Medium! Like me, you might be keen to import your articles from your website on to Medium, but watch out! • How to Stop the Karen’s Fake 911 Calls #BlackLivesMatter

Acting out of white privilege is no longer a badge of honor but a crime

Karen is the angry white woman who puts lives in jeopardy or killed. Have done it much in the past, Emmett Till and so many more before Emmett Till, after Emmett Till, and now current day times. Central Park Five. Neither of these were guilty, one died from an unrecognizable beating, while the others lost their young lives incarcerated. Karens lied on both.

According to Webster dictionary, karen is a pejorative term used in the United States and other English-speaking countries for a woman perceived to be entitled or demanding beyond the scope of what is considered appropriate or necessary.

Karen is a woman not of color with many faces that use the system to their advantage as they disadvantage another. Their actions need to be dealt with and on a serious basis.

Below this lady frantically calls the cop on an African American man who was bird watching and no where near her proximity.

You may ask, who is Karen? She is the one who throws a tantrum to get what she wants at all cost. She is the furious shopper at Trader Joe’s , the dog walker in Central Park, the defiant grandmother who sat on a motorist car, the woman who pulled a gun on a African American mother and her daughter, she is the one who yelled rape when there was no rape and this list is so long that it would require its own encyclopedia.

All karens feel they posses an inherit right of white privilege over another ethnicity. Karens have come out of the closet full force since the BlackLivesMatter Movement. Youtube and TikTok are filled with these Karens as they expose their erratic behavior to the world like its a badge of honor. Once they are inconvenience their little brains go into action full speed on steroids. They are so notoroius that they have earned the hashtags, #Covidkaren, #GasstationKaren, #PermitKaren, #KarensGonewild, #Homedepotkaren, #Redlobsterkaren, #SanFrancisoKaren, #CentralParkKaren, and #Karenoftheday. Millions of views on social media have thrown these characters into the spot light and they have to be reckoned with like yesterday before deaths occur at the hands of these fake hysteria ladies who calls 911 as quick as breathing. Karens represent pure racism, i.e. “You’re going back to Mexico”, “white power”, “Yes, I am entitled. I’m white. I’m a woman.” These are just a few rhetoric rants just to give an idea what flies out of the mouth of babes out of control.

The current Trump administration has opened the door where white supremacy is now acceptable political ideology due to his continued rhetoric denouncing people of color as he touts white supremacy. He has normalized hatred and racism that many of his followers along with the karens feel they have an inherited right over a country a that was built on the backs of people of color and most of the inventions were invented by people of color while patents were issue to the ones who had the money. Here, you do the math. As you can see, the karens have been emboldened by Trump.

Karens must now be taken serious more than ever and demand being reckoned with like yesterday. They are to be feared because they will summon the cops on innocent people in a heart beat who they presumed to be threatening only because of their race, religion, sex or a perceived class status.

A new day is on the horizon, where victims of such 911 calls can sue these for “infliction of emotional distress”, caused by the arresting police officer. The victims could be awarded for statutory damages between $250 and $10,000 plus legal fees and costs.

Karens wanted their day in the sun, well now they will get it. Just not in the manner they had hoped. The passage of AB1550 and the Caren Act is a huge step in the right direction to arrest this unfounded unfathomable behavior. This is a new day and Black people are making it clear that they are sick and tired of being the ones who are doing all the work of undoing systemic racism. Karens acts are hate crimes and demand to be dealt with accordingly. This act needs to be flagged and enforced by the police department adequately and the district attorneys to prosecute them appropriately.

In conclusion, in the words of Fannie Lou Hamer, “ I have been sick and I have been tired, now I’m really sick and tired of being sick and tired.” Karens need to called out for who they are upon every opportunity and pay the penalty once uncovered. End of story.
