How to See the Past as a Gateway to the Future
Letting go of what is no longer in your control to change
If life gives you a lemon make lemonade, or if your past had obstacles, make them stepping stones to a better tomorrow!
Your past is your past for a reason & season, it can make your shorter or taller, make you or break you. You have the right to choose. Choose wisely! Time is a precious commodity and everyone has a measure of time, don’t take for granted.
YOUR PAST IS SOMETHING THAT YOU STAND ON, NOT SOMETHING YOU STAND IN.
Stand tall and stand where you are. Feel the strength in your being, feed your spirit with confidence as you prepare to soar. Inside each of us, lies more strength than we realize. Your strength lies within you, but you must resurrect it. It will not surface on it’s own. At the end of the day, you want to have stood as tool as possible making it happen in your arena and hardly to no regrets. Dismiss, woulda, shoulda or coulda! They are dead weights and prevents you from soaring like an eagle in your stance of space. First get up, stand up and stay up to be counted.
Every day presents a new way and a new opportunity to do it better, get it right or change your path. What you do today is a better recipe for a better tomorrow. Do not allow one road block to be a stumbling block for the rest of your life. Even when walking alone, keep going and the path will change as long as you see it as so. Yes, defeats could suddenly appear on your path but they don’t have to defeat you without your permission. Anticipate what to do when it happens and then jump over your road blocks and keep on gong.
In conclusion, begin every morning with a purpose and end every night with gratitude. Each morning after doing a morning ritual, glance at your plan for the day to attune your mind in moving forward to take action. Secondly, prioritize and organize tasks based on the demands of the hour, followed by precise execution, analyze or take inventory of goals accomplished, celebrate and by the evening create your plan as you end the day on a gratitude note.
