How To Maximize Your Written Content On Medium To Earn You More Money.
Don’t Rely On The Medium Partner Program!
There’s no need to solely rely on the Medium Partner Program for all your writing earnings. Leverage your work, there’s more money to be made!
To maximize your earning potential on Medium, you’ve got to think strategically and creatively about the platform.
Do this:
1. Treat Medium Blog Like Your Online Writing Portfolio
Don’t treat Medium like your personal blog or journal. That is — if you’re serious about earning good money with your writing.
Instead, treat Medium as your digital writing portfolio.
Let’s face it, resumés are slowly going out of style.
These days, social proof is more important than a paper listing your previous job experiences, if you’re looking for work in the digital world.
For example. If you want to be a content writer, then your prospective clients want to see that you can write, and are actively writing content online.
Nothing says “hire me” faster than your own portfolio of work online establishing social proof.
2. Repurpose Your Content From Medium
You can do this by republishing your articles from Medium onto Alternative Platforms.
A couple of months after I started writing on Medium, I republished some of those same articles onto Vocal Media and earned more money there.
I’ve also repurposed content that didn’t do well on Medium, to Twitter and gone viral there.
You can repurpose your content from Medium to build your audience and improve your writing opportunities and earning potential on Linkedin, Twitter, Vocal Media, etc.
3. Turn Your Medium Blogs Into E-Books
Writing a blog post each day is one of the quickest ways to finish putting together your e-book.
Creating an e-book (a digital product) is a wonderful way to build and earn passive income.
Within the past month, I’ve earned $100 in passive income from an E-book I uploaded to Gumroad.

4. Market Your Digital Products and Services In Your Medium Articles
You can use your medium articles as a platform to market some of your services.
For example: If you’re a life coach, you can add a link to booking a 1-on-1 consultation and coaching services, at the bottom of your personal development, self-help articles, or any piece of relevant content.
Medium is a great place to market your e-book, courses, and services you have to offer.
Think strategically about the platform.
5. Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing is the process by which an affiliate earns a commission for marketing another person’s or company’s products. — BigCommerce
Affiliate programs allow you to promote products and earn a percentage profit from the sales you make.
Medium allows you to incorporate and promote affiliate links in your articles, as long as you disclose them.
For example, you can add an amazon affiliate product to your article, and earn when people buy your listed affiliates.
