How to Make the World’s Greatest Sandwich
It’ll change your life

If there’s one thing I take seriously in this world, it’s sandwiches.
Once upon a time I use to work on cruise ships, and while working there I’d live on delicious sandwiches. For those of you who don’t know, the crew who live and work on cruise ships are given a dreadful and bland buffet everyday to choose from. If you only ever ate from the buffet in the way it was designed to be eaten, you’d lose your mind.
I couldn’t live that way, so I figured out how to turn absolutely anything into a sandwich.
Eventually my sandwich-making powers made me unstoppable. I literally got away with paying less rent one time because I made my landlord an incredible sandwich.
With sandwiches, anything is possible.
Today I want to show you my favourite sandwich to make. It’s easy and fast if you have an Instant Pot. I got an Instant Pot recently and it has radically improved the speed at which I can prepare an amazing sandwich.
With that said, let’s get started.

Ingredient list
(This recipe makes 2 sandwiches)
- A 200 gram slice of beef tenderloin
- 2 petard bread rolls
- a thick slice of butter
- 2 cups of wine
- 2 cloves of garlic
- A tomato
- 6 slices of cheese
- Olive oil
- Whole egg mayonnaise
Let Us Sandwich
Our sandwich begins with scoring our beef tenderloin front and back with a sharp knife. Peel and chop your garlic cloves, then insert them into the beef scores.


Take the olive oil and pour it liberally into your hands, then massage the oil all over the beef.
Take out the inner pot from the Instant Pot. (Or just a normal pan if you’re using an oven). Pour the wine into the pot, then add the beef and slice of butter.

Place the pot back into the instant pot, then choose the pressure cook setting (or manual, depending on which Instant Pot you have). Set the Instant Pot to 30 minutes and let it do its thing.
If you’re using an oven, 90 minutes on 150 degrees Celsius should be equivalent. Make sure you preheat your oven ahead of time.

Once it’s done cooking, release the steam from the Instant Pot before opening the lid. Take the lid off the pot and let the beef rest in its liquid for 20 minutes.
After that time has passed, take the beef out of the pot and cut it into slices.

Arrange the slices of beef onto the bread roll, along with the tomato and cheese.
Now pour some of the liquid out of the pot and into a mixing container. Add mayonnaise to the container, about 2/3 of the liquid already inside. Now whisk the ingredients together.


Pour some of the liquid onto the sandwich and the rest in a bowl to be used as dipping sauce.
