Mental health issues are sweeping the world, this problem has exponentially multiplied due to the adverse conditions we all face during the Coronavirus pandemic. For example, according to a recent MHA study:

  • 41.5% suffer from some sort of anxiety
  • 11.7% have mental healthcare needs that are not being met
  • Depression symptoms are up 30%
  • Suicide rates are up
  • More and more people are feeling lonely and isolated

And that’s just in the US. One way to have more control of life and see brighter horizons is to enhance the relationship you have with yourself. You are the starting point for everything in your life. Having a respectful and loving opinion of yourself raises self-esteem and confidence levels, often reducing anxiety associated with feelings of despair and a lack of control. This is the focus of the first section of my book, Win the Day: How to win your battles with stress, anxiety & depression. Here are early versions of those six chapters.

Chapter 1 sets the foundation for realizing self-worth.

Chapter 2 provides tips for developing and nurturing a loving relationship with yourself.

We often get into trouble when we believe the world revolves around us. Chapter 3 will help you to connect to a higher presence.

Too much worrying about the future or regret about the past ties us down and makes it difficult to be the best we can be in the moment. Chapter 4 will help you to focus on the here and now.

Often times we are confused about our purpose and if we are moving in the right direction. Chapter 5 will help you answer those questions.

With a well developed sense of self worth, taking personal responsibility for our lives allow us to feel more in control. While we can not control everything, usually what we can impact is more than we think is possible. That is the focus of Chapter 6.

I hope you enjoy these early versions of my book chapters. I will be posting more leading up to the release of my book. I’ve included the friends links here, so if you know someone that would benefit from this information please share this story. Good mental health is critical to becoming the best version of ourselves, and I hope these stories make a difference for you or someone you care about.

Win the Day.
