How to Leave Space for Abundance to Show Up
Creating time for more

Create the space and a bigger life happens. -Alysia Reiner
Lately, I have felt the need to leave more wide-open spaces in my life. I believe that more abundance will flow when I create more places for it to show up.
When I recall times that overflow visits me, it is the times where I am most relaxed.
Although I love my daily practices, I am going to create more blank space in my days. It is like creating an invitation for more to flow to me.
There is more than enough time in our lives for work, play, and stillness. I have a strong feeling in my heart today that it is time to let go a little.
The moment has come to be light about my days.
I crave a carefree holiday, a different scene, an open expanse.
I am going to create an experiment starting tomorrow. In this way, I am leaving a blank space where abundance can enter.
Today I share with you three things I will do to create space in my life. I hope that you try these experiments as well and let me know how they go. We will be doing this together.
Stop Checking Messages:
Starting tomorrow, I will not check any messages unless they are a text until noon. I used to leave my email alone until later in the day but, this habit has crept back in.
I feel that leaving a blank space here will feel much better. I can focus more on my writing and creating while worrying less about what is in my inbox.
I am excited about this experiment because it creates freedom.
It allows me to open up to putting something out into the world rather than being in response mode first thing in the morning.
I will plan daily and weekly rewards for sticking to this plan. We all need encouragement.
Take a Day Off:
There was a time where I took Fridays off. Of course, I have weekends off most of the time to spend with my family.
I believe there is something special about planning a day off during the week.
It shows the world that you are worth it. You deserve to have some time that is your own. Starting next week, I am going to start my tradition again. It is time for me to leave space for rest, relaxation, and fun.
Each week I will plan something on my calendar for Fridays. It is an experiment that invites in abundance.
Dress Up:
Before the pandemic, there were more occasions to dress up. Although I dress nicely every day even though I work from home, I miss wearing a fancy dress on occasion.
I have a lot of outfits gathering dust in my closet, waiting for a special occasion. What if that day is today?
Those bright colors and beautiful fabrics beckon me to wear them. It is another experiment worth doing.
Dressing up at home will invite more lightness and freedom.
It is time to celebrate, have fun, and enjoy life. The location does not matter; it is how you feel.
I shall add days to my calendar where I will dress up. Perhaps I will invite myself to afternoon tea in our dining room.
My prayer and my intention for you is to leave space for abundance to show up for you. Try the experiments along with me. How do they make you feel? I wish freedom, joy, and love for you!
