How I Plan To Give More Even Though I’m Broke

What do we do when we have no idea what to do?

I want to do something big and meaningful with my life, yet I’m doing nothing.

I want to be passionate and have a desire for something, anything.

What do we do with our lives when we have no dreams or goals?

That is the question I’ve been asking myself for the past 33 years.

The usual answer is you get out of life what you put in. Meaning the more you give the more you receive.

That’s great but I still don’t know what to give.

I don’t have a skill or talent or service that people will pay for.

I could get a job and trade my hours for money but that will only get me enough to get by.

If we want to have a wealthy life we need to do as much good for as many people as possible.

One way we can give more is through labor, the other is through knowledge.

When I write I write what I want and try to make it interesting for the reader.

What if my focus was the opposite?

Figure out what I want to say and what I have to offer and then write based on that.

Instead of writing articles just to make money, have the focus be helping or entertaining people.

The quality of our lives reflects the quality of our actions.

If I want more people to read and share my writing I need to make it more valuable.

We tend to think that giving more means doing more, but it could mean doing the things we already do with more passion.

Right now I write every day and publish multiple times per week.

However, I know that the quality of those articles isn’t great, but that is part of the process.

We have to suck before we get better.

I’m still looking for a way to provide value to people, where do I fit in?

Writing is what I love to do so I’m going to double down.

I not only need to make my writing more interesting and entertaining, but I need to do more to promote it.

I have been lazy about that, I just want to write, post, and disappear until next time. My new approach is to market on Facebook and Pinterest because I think that is where my target audience will be.

Finding ways to give to the world is why we’re here.

Dying without contributing anything is a life wasted.

I’d rather go down struggling for a clutch of romance.
