How To Get More Readers For Your Stories (3 Simple Tips)!

As writers, we are happy when … we get more readers.

Every piece of writing is a project requiring painstaking effort to conceive. Just like a mother who wants their children to finish eating every dish they whipped up, we want readers to enjoy our stories too.

We yearn for more readers. Here I present to you the 3 simple tips I use to get more readers for my stories.

Tip # 1 — Use Medium Short Form Feature.

I wrote about this feature from Medium, and I fiddled with it.

I use the Medium Short Form to craft executive summaries for my existing stories and then attaching my stories to them.

It helps to circulate my stories again.

Tip # 2 — Use Social Media.

Take, for instance, Linkedin.

I write quite extensively on workplace relationships and various musings. I distribute such stories on Linkedin to get more impressions.

This method works well as I engage with my Linkedin followers through comments.

Tip # 3 — Create A “Related Stories” Section Below Your Story.

You can scroll to the bottom and see what I mean.

As writers, we write in genres. If we write about digital marketing, we are likely to write about blogs, vlogs, social media, etc.

If your existing story is about Linkedin, you can attach previous stories about FaceBook, Instagram, Twitter at the bottom.

It offers the reader continuity in terms of your writing.

Of course, it is equally as important to connect with other writers. Propose ideas for their work to become better, and reciprocity will be in place.
