How can you generate multiple streams of income from your single article without confusing the search engine crawler? Most of the writers are doing a full-time job writing about things that love. If you are writing on your own blog then you could also make money through 5 different ways. I have seen articles published in Forbes getting curated on Medium and make thousands of dollars. If you published any of your work on any platform, you still have the right to that content and can be syndicated on any of the given platforms and make more money.

You don’t want to leave money on the table, don’t you?

When you spend so much time writing an article then these sites will help you grow your brand and will open more revenue streams from a single piece of writing.

1. On Medium

You are reading this article on Medium. I am just writing on Medium and not on my blog but Medium gives you the opportunity to syndicate your blog posts onto Medium. If you publish it under the metered paywall then there might be the chances that Medium curators read your story and recommend it to the Interested readers. I have seen stories published in Forbes, The Entrepreneur, and The Financial times getting curated on Medium.

On Medium, you own your content. You can do whatever you want with the stories but one thing you must *NOT* to do is to confuse the search engines. When you publish a story on your own personal website and want to add it to Medium, do it properly. Don’t Do This Big Mistake While Importing Stories To Medium and you can easily rank articles that you have published in the first place. If you write a Unique article on Medium then you can also get ranked easily on search engines.

You can send your story to a relevant publication or choose your own publication to add your story. On Medium, you make money through two ways; through joining Medium partner program and through affiliate marketing. If you are adding an affiliate link, make sure to add a disclosure otherwise this will get your account banned if you don’t do it properly.

2. On Vocal.Media

Vocal. Media is a similar platform where you could make money. The same article you have published on your blog and Medium, you could use to publish it on Vocal. Media. Vocal pay you get more views. Yes, I have over 200,000 views on Medium and just made $200 in a month while if I have that much views on Vocal, I might have made over $1,500 to $2,000.

Vocal system work based on the CPM model, you get paid for 1,000 views. So, if you are just a write on Vocal and receive 1,000 views then you will make $3.80 and if you are a Vocal+ member then for the same 1,000 views you will make $6. If you think of yourself as a businessman, giving $9.99 a month to make two times more money is a good thing but take this deal only if you are getting good views from a stable source. While researching Vocal, I find it very interesting and maybe I give it a chance too. The platform is literally paying you a CPM of $6 per 1,000 views.

3. Converting your article into a Podcast

The podcast is one of the fastest-growing industries. There is some very exciting news about the podcast industry like; Google Ad-manager introducing audio ads, the word “Podcast” has been searching more than the world “Blogs”, and more than 50% of the Americans are actually listing to podcasts once in their life.

Recently, Joe Rogan, a very popular podcaster struck a deal of more than $100 Million dollars with Spotify to host his content on the platform. Previously, you have the access to watch full episodes of The Joe Rogan experience podcast on his YouTube channel but now you can only watch podcasts on his Spotify channel.

There are some tools that convert your article into a podcast in less than a minute. With just a single search on Google, you can find hundreds of companies that actually provide the free services to convert your article into a podcast.

But where to post your podcast and how do you make money through your podcast? You can use a variety of ways to make money through your podcast, one indirect way is to generate more traffic to your article or original work. You can post your article on Soundcloud and add an RSS file into Spotify and other services.

4. Converting your article into a video

Okay. I have made over $135 just converting my articles into videos. Let say, I write about “5 Ways to make more money with a single article” now, I have done some research for this topic and when I write an article on Medium I have delivered everything I know, probably I have miss some of the things, and now I just have to say the same thing or with little variation in front of Camera. It would take me less than 10-Minutes and the same video will be live on my YouTube channel in next 20 minutes.

But, we miss a big factor here. And that’s making your own personal brand. I have over 2.8K followers on Medium and I am convinced that 40% of the followers find me through my YouTube videos about Medium.
