Quora Space Monetization: How To Make Money Growing A Quora Space

In a new post, Jonathan Brill, the writer relations manager on Quora announced that Quora is going to pay Admins and contributors to grow Quora spaces.

Quora launches Quora spaces a year and a half ago. The most followed Quora space has over 3.4 Million followers which means that more and more people are actually liking this feature. Quora team has shown great interest among the users of Quora and the next step is to monetize Quora spaces with ads.

Quora is hosted on Amazon Web services, they pay for every MB of data transfer to Amazon web hosting. So, adding the Space feature on Quora is a new cost. Right now, at the time of writing this answer, Quora spaces have no ads displayed. They don’t make any money directly from Quora spaces.

According to the post, it talked about three new things on Quora.

The first thing that adding ads to Quora spaces will help Quora to make Quora spaces better and to invest more in this technology. There are a lot of features that are still missing in the Quora spaces.
The second thing they mentioned in the post is that they are going to opening to have the ability for everyone to create spaces. Previously, there was a random selection where they choose some randomly selected people to have Space. But, with the new update, now everyone can own and create a space on Quora.
The third thing mentioned in the post is that “They are going to pay Admins and contributors of Quora spaces”

What payment model would they use? How are they going to make the Quora spaces eligible for monetization? and “How you can join the Quora space partner program?”

All these questions are not yet answered and you need to wait for two to three weeks for these answers.

Update 1:

They have added another update about Quora spaces. Now, if you are a Quora account, you can create your own Quora space. In some cases, it may take some time before the option appear because they don’t want to deal with the spam. Some people often create space on Quora for spamming the platform. Be active on the platform and wait for a week or two to get the Space creating a feature on Quora.

They also announced that they are going to invite a few Quora spaces owners and if you are a Quora user then you might see ads in some Quora spaces. They haven’t yet launched the beta program or any eligibility criteria for Quora spaces admins in order to show ads in Spaces to make money through it. I will add another update in the next few days.

Update 2:

They have posted a new update but starting a beta Space earning. My Space has been included in the earning and I am now seeing this in my earning report.

That’s means I have made $3.42 till now but there is a review process in place.

Eligibility Criteria for getting your space Monetize

Your Quora space should have made $10 to go to the next process.
In the next process “Wait for eligibility review” it takes three business days in order to get accepted into the Quora space partner program.
At the end of you the process, you just have to connect your bank account via Stripe.

Boom. You are in the Quora space monetization.

One thing you need to keep in mind that hasn’t started completed monetization yet, they will ads in Questions asked in Quora spaces, they will shows ads when a person clicks on “Read more” of a post or answer.
