How to Generate Hyperrealistic AI Images with Jasper Art

The first thing to know is that hyperreality doesn’t mean what you think it means. It’s not just super-realistic images, or even images that are so realistic they’re fake. It doesn’t mean photorealism, which I’ll address in a future post.
The term hypereality was coined by French philosopher Jean Baudrillard, to describe a society that had become so reliant on simulation and media that it was difficult to tell what was real and what was not anymore. Today, the term is often synonymous with digital art, and it’s not a bad way to think about it.
We see hyperrealism in computer games, fantasy cover art, and even in advertising, with CGI models who are too unnaturally beautiful to exist.

Hyperreality is a term used to describe a reality that has been augmented by technology. In digital art, this can manifest in a number of ways, but the most common is probably the use of digital effects to create images that look real, but would be impossible to replicate in the real world (like the Avatar films).
This is often accomplished by compositing multiple images together, or by using digital effects to enhance an image beyond what could be done in the real world. For example, you might take a photo of a person, and then use Photoshop to add wings to them, or make them look like they’re floating in mid-air. That would be an example of a hyperreal image.

With this in mind, there are a few ways to generate beautiful, hyperrealistic images with JASPER ART (you can try it here). After all, the goal of Jasper AI is to make the impossible seem real, and create unbelievably good images!

- Use the software’s built-in filters and effects to create an image that looks like it was made with OctaneRender, or any other high-end 3D software.
- Another way is to create an image that looks like it was made with a real camera, but that has been enhanced with digital effects.
- And finally, you can use Jasper ART to create an image of an impossible scene, an alternate reality. Or even 3D!
There are no default settings on Jasper AI for creating hyperrealistic images, but try using “insane detail, hypermaximalism, 8k, Octane Render, Unreal Engine 5” in the text prompt. It helped generate all the images in this article!
