How to build your own morning routine

I used to have the problem that I was often tired after getting up and only really woke up during the day.

Of course, I could have drunk coffee every morning, but I decided against it because otherwise, I would probably be addicted to drinking it every day.

I have noticed that many successful people have a morning routine and have therefore decided to look for one myself.

I have heard of a quote that is appropriate.

The way we start the day is how the rest of the day goes

After several days of research, I decided to drink a glass of water first and then meditate for 10 minutes in the morning and do yoga for 5 minutes.

Right after the first day, I realized that meditating is not for me, so I reduced my morning routine to drinking a glass of water and doing yoga for 10 minutes.

I do this morning routine daily and couldn’t imagine doing without it.

Now about how to find your own morning routine

There are several areas where you can do something in the morning.

One thing that I basically recommend to everyone is to drink a whole glass of water right after getting up because the body loses fluid over the night.

The first area would be meditation which helps your body to rest, you can either meditate with guidance or alone.

The second area is visualization, where you take time to think about your life or write down your goals.

The third area is to write something such as a blog or diary.

The fourth area is a specific time to read every morning.

The fifth area is fitness, which is often seen in morning routines for example workouts or jogging.

What to do now?

After you have seen several areas for a morning routine you have to look for the ones that appeal to you the most that can be several but also only one, it depends on how much time you have.

Most importantly, after you have found your morning routine, do the morning routine for the first month. It is the hardest at first until you have made a habit of doing it every day.

Once it becomes a habit, you can’t imagine being without this morning routine.

It’s best if you get up right after the alarm goes off and start looking forward to your morning routine, this will surely make your day productive.

Conclusion

I would suggest everyone to find their own morning routine from at least one of the areas, the best would probably be to do fitness combined with something else, so you already do sports in the morning and be productive.
