What I Learned After 50 Blogs
I would not have thought that I have already published 50 blogs but it is so.
As I have done with what I learned after 30 blogs I want to do this again on 50 blogs.
Before I start I recommend everybody to start their blog in 2023.
Medium makes it so easy you can create an account and write, you don’t need your website.
In the end, I will show you my stats for the last month.
What have I learned?
I first learned that your first 50 blogs are bad, but they can be good after 50 blogs.
I think your first 10 blogs will be bad, but after that, it gets better.
After 50 it can get good.
Which tools do I use?
- Grammarly
One tool that everybody should use is Grammarly
It corrects your text and gives your suggestions for improving your article.
It is for free so sign up and test it.
2. Medium topics
You can also use this to see all medium topics if you don’t know what to write about.
If you have found one you can go on it and see how many stories have been published and how many writers write on this topic.
So you can see how big your competition is.
One big tag is Self Improvement as you see, it seemed to me that almost everyone writes about this tag.
TagsWhile we are on the subject of tags I also learned to use 5 from 5 tags for each story.
It’s good if you use some big tags like Self Improvement and Life and then some niche tags, which your story is about.
3. Capitalize your Title
This tool is in the beginning good, later you do it automatically.

4. Hemingway editor
You can write your blog in this editor and it will give you tips to improve.
For example, if you have long sentences or unnecessary adverbs.
5. Discord
Yes, Medium discords can help you, you can chat with people, who have more experience.
Or some people are editors of Publications like New Writers Welcome and Illumination.
I have found two very helpful servers, which support you as a writer.

6. Never Give Up
I learned that if you do not stop writing blogs you are better than 99% because 99% of bloggers quit.
So start writing and don’t quit, doesn´t matter what happens.
7. Bonus tip for boosting your stats
Just use publication, it makes it easier especially if you are a new writer.
