How To Earn Your First Dollar Online (No Experience Required)
As they say, earning your first dollar online is the hardest.
It can be hard to know what is real and what is a scam.
Fake it til you make it hustle culture seems to have infected the world.
Well, I have an easy way for you to earn your first dollar ever, even if you are a total beginner.
How?
By writing a software review!
I will reveal the exact details at the end of the story.
But, this offer is only valid for 5 people — so be fast.
Previously, I discussed how I had made over $200 by writing software reviews.
I recently started to write software reviews again to earn extra money between projects with freelancing clients.
I just wrote a review on Capterra about Serpple — an SEO tool I use for keyword tracking for my blog Skyler Benson.

In return, I got a US$5 (AU$7) Amazon Gift Card from Capterra for writing the review, which was cool.

But a few days later, something even better happened!
I got an email from Capterra that said:
Thank you for your recent review of Serpple on Capterra. Big news — your review was of such high quality, you’ve been invited to be a part of the Capterra Reviewer Referral Program. Welcome!
Wow, amazing!
So I now want to give my readers the opportunity to earn their first dollar online, as I know how hard it can be to get started.

Capterra offered me five referral spots to refer other users of Serrple to write a review.
Everyone who writes a published review will receive a $15 Amazon gift card!
Full Disclosure: I will also earn a $15 gift card for each person I refer.
Now that’s what I call a win-win!
I used to have doubts that making money online was just a scam, but this is an excellent way to get started.
Best of all, you don’t have to buy some expensive course from some fake guru with photoshopped earning reports to do so.
Once you make that first dollar, everything suddenly becomes easier.
But there is one catch.
To receive the gift card, the moderation team must approve the review before it is published.
They screen every single review manually, and it can take up to 3 weeks until it is published. However, in my experience, they usually are within 2–3 days most of the time.
To ensure that your review is also high quality and gets accepted, here are the guidelines you need to follow:
Most importantly, you need to write an authentic and honest review.
You can’t write a fake review, as Capterra will not approve it.
Unsure how to write a review? Well, here is the Serpple review that I wrote to give you an idea.

(Don’t copy this, or your review won’t be approved — instead, use it as inspiration and write a review in your own words).
But what if you have never used Serpple before?
Luckily, they have a free Forever plan you can sign up for to try it out.
There are also monthly plans starting from as low as $1 (but just using the free version is enough to be able to write the review).

After trying the software, you can write an honest review and make your first $15 online!
Important: To be eligible for the offer, you must use my Capterra referral link.
You will see the following screen.

If you have a LinkedIn account, I strongly recommend you sign in with LinkedIn.
This will help add credibility to your review and show that you are a real person, significantly increasing the likelihood that your review will be published.
However, you can complete the form with your details if you don’t have a LinkedIn account.
Please note there are only five referral spots available.
(Update: There are now 4 spots left)
Important: Once all 5 spots have been taken, I will update the post and remove the link.
So if you still see the referral link — you can write a review and make your first $15.
If you have any questions about writing a Serpple review, let me know in the comments, and I’ll help you.
Don’t wait. Take action right away before it is too late!
