Today I am very excited and eager to share a story that I came across on this platform. This story was written by Ryan and you can read it here.
What really struck me when I was reading this particular story is how Ryan casually mentioned that he almost made a $100 day on medium.
It’s like the words flew off the screen and were mocking me. You only make $100 per month if you’re lucky.
Of course, I congratulated Ryan for his efforts. Isn’t that what we do on this platform?
Anyway, as I was saying before, I was rudely interrupted by that chain of thought.
Where was I? Oh yes, Ryan’s $100 day on medium.
There’s this massive disparity between the haves and have nots on medium. Here we have someone at the top of his game just killing it on this platform and making it look so easy.
Then, on the other hand, we have a bunch of minions wrestling for the crumbs that falls off the round table of greatness.
Truly, I am not for one minute referring to you as a minion but if you’re wrestling for the slow drip of pennies entering your partner account, then I guess you’re a minion.
As for me, I’m not here for the money. I just love writing but if you can kindly make a note of all my articles you will notice a beautiful yellow star on all of them.
This just simply means that all of my stories on the platform are neatly tucked behind the medium paywall.
Please, don’t judge me.
Like I’ve said before, I just love writing. I’m quite sure I’m not the only one that loves to write.
