How To Be Happy (In 10 Simple Steps)!
Being happy is a philosophy. We used to know only happiness as a child, and then we got educated out of it somehow. As adults, we have to learn how to be happy again. These are my 10 steps to happiness.

Happiness is a life-long pursuit. We sought that elusive feeling of happiness when we were young. We seek happiness leading into old age. This journey never ends.
And happiness is more important than ever before as we are surrounded by more and more bad news and fake news.
We live to be happy, people. Not the other way.
As such, I want to share my 10 steps to happiness where each of these steps gives me an ounce of happiness daily.
Add them up, and I will have a spectacular day.
So, here goes! There are my 10.
Step 1 — Sleep Well.
It is a privilege. Not everyone gets to sleep well. Look at people who lost their wealth and health, and you see what I mean.
Take steps to sleep well every evening. I stop drinking coffee by 3 pm and water by 8 pm to prevent unscheduled pee breaks in the night.
Step 2 — Break A Sweat.
I exercise daily. I love the feeling of breaking a sweat. It feels as if my troubles are forced out of my mind and body.
30 minutes a day is all it takes to feel good. When time permits, I run for 60 minutes.
Adrenaline rush always feels good.
Step 3 — Do Something.
Ever wondered how boring it is to stare at your phone the entire day? It is meaningless, am I right?
Unless we are doing something with our phones, endless scrolling does not make us happy.
Go ahead and create content. You will feel happier, I promise you.
Step 4 — Learn To Earn.
Many people think having $1,000,000.00 in their bank account makes them happy.
I know many folks who have that string of digits and are unhappy. Paradoxical, I know.
Over the years, I learned that the ability to earn money makes me happier as compared to staring at my bank account.
So, I work. It feels good to be productive.
Step 5 — Hang Around Positive People.
For some reason, positive vibes compound. When we hang around positive people, everything seems possible.
I used to work for a boss who is affable and extremely positive. We blow past every single target we have even in tough years.
It says a lot about positive energy.
And therefore …
Step 6 — Avoid Negative People AT ALL COSTS.
Have you tried listening to complaints all day? I have. I used to work in a call center. Addressing concerns and being bombarded by angry customers is no joke.
They weigh you down. I always feel that the skies have collapsed when I am done with my shift.
Do yourself a favor. Avoid negative people at all costs.
Step 7 — Make Stupid Mistakes.
Yes, you read that right.
Making stupid mistakes is part of the learning process. Babies learn to walk by falling and climbing back up.

When we make stupid mistakes such as washing our clothes without pouring the detergent — Take heart.
We learn to pour them the next time.
Therefore to be lighthearted daily, we have to …
Step 8 — Laugh At Our Stupid Mistakes.
Warren Buffett, the greatest investor in the World — Laughs a lot.
He laughs at his own investment mistakes, and he laughs when his long-time business partner Charlie Munger calls Bitcoin Turd-Trading in their Annual shareholder address in Omaha.
If a billionaire can laugh at himself, I think we can too.
Step 9 — Read A Lot.
Reading expands our horizons. It broadens our perspectives.
When I read about what I know, I get better at what I know.
When I read about something new, I learn about something new that this World can offer.
Nothing can be happier than that.
Step 10 — Write A Lot.
Writing brings clarity to our thought processes.
It allows us to infused newly acquired perspectives and vocabulary into our subsequent content we share with others.
Write more. We communicate better. Overtime.
In Conclusion.
There are many ways happiness comes to us. It doesn’t just come because we have to do something for ourselves.
These are the 10 steps I try to take daily to be happy.
1 — Sleep Well.
2 — Break A Sweat.
3 — Do Something.
4 — Learn To Earn.
5 — Hang Around Positive People.
6 — Avoid Negative People AT ALL COSTS.
7 — Make Stupid Mistakes.
8 — Laugh At Our Stupid Mistakes.
9 — Read A Lot.
10 — Write A Lot.
Of course, I do not get to achieve all 10 daily. However, I would have a spectacular day when I have them.
