How To Avocado Your Way to Health
We Came from Nature, for Better Health Need to Return Back to Nature
Nature in all fruits and vegetables has given all we need to keep the body healthy and allows it to heal itself. Just like an apple a day will keep the doctor away, an avocado a day will keep your cholesterol at bay.
Avocado are loaded with lots of good minerals and vitamins that makes for a healthier you. Avocados are a great source of vitamins C, E, K, and B-6, as well as riboflavin, niacin, folate, fiber, monounsaturated fats, pantothenic acid, magnesium, potassium, lutein, beta-carotene, omega-3 fatty acids. It is important to understand how all these nutrients are processed in the body and the cause and effect of a daily dose of one avocado.
Although most of the calories in an avocado come from fat, let’s say it’s the good fat. No worries!! A single avocado is comprised of 13 grams of fiber, half of the recommended 25 to 30 grams a day. More dietary fiber will improve blood cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke and diabetes. Also, avocado is comprised of 975 milligrams of potassium, an electrolyte for proper heart function. Low levels of potassium levels has been linked to high blood pressure, heart disease and stroke. Monounsaturated fatty acids can make you feel full, manages blood sugar and reduce bad cholesterol levels while maintaining HDL cholesterol levels. A daily dose of one avocado will delivers half the amount of fiber needed to fight heart disease, lower bad cholesterol, affects overweight or obesity and will improve levels of lutein, an antioxidant relating to heart healthy by more than 68 percent. Bad cholesterol aka LDL will raise the risk of having atherosclerosis or plaque build up inside the arteries that will increase the risk of having a heart attack or stroke.
Various studies have shown that participants of an avocado daily diet have proven to significantly lowered the level of oxidized LDL cholesterol and highlights that this oxidation was the basis for conditions with cancer and heart disease. When LDL particles become oxidized, it can start a chain reaction that can promote atherosclerosis, a build up of plaque in the artery wall. Oxidation is not good and can be affected in a positive manner with a healthy diet inclusive of avocado.
