The Power of Poetry
How Poetry Can Stop the World
from Flowing

The world constantly changes, So flow with it. It is impossible to stop the flow that is chaos and aggression. To deny chaos or to fall into anger would be a simple mistake, for there’s no one left but the two of us. The world constantly changes. That no two situations are exactly the same. Just as water flows in a river, one cannot touch the exact same water twice when one steps into a river. A charming orchestral sound, an elegant symphony in solitude. Flowing and flowing, I won’t spill a drop of my anger as I continue to flow like this forever. Flow with it and dance to its tune. The voice of the world is chaos and aggression, and it is calling you out right now. Enraged, I stood up, And put my words through a poetic filter to fight against myself To run, to hurry away from reality! Rushing into a crowd of people so that I could forget the words that I had written.

Now a new world has opened, Crying out for a new beginning. In this time of war, I have found my place of solitude. I am a voice of harmony within the forgotten orchestra. I know what I am: I am a poet.

Once again, I will begin to write a new poem, Because in the end, that is all that I am good at. I know the world will not stop flowing, and I will not stop writing. Any amount of chaos and aggression cannot stop me from writing.

Heraclitus said, “You cannot step into the same river twice”
The water of a river is constantly changing. The water is always flowing, and the souls are flowing into it. This means that no two situations are precisely the same. Rivers provide a new beginning or new close to those who step in them and carry them away for good, for better, or worse.
