How One Lifestyle Change Transformed My Body

Call me “Sloth”. I will grin.
I’m a mom of one. That’s one great excuse I can easily make to skip taking care of myself. I do not remember exercising after getting married. I do not care to be in shape because I have someone to love me forever even though I’m a Pear (Believe me, in true relationship, no one cares about it). There comes Motherhood. Shape becomes the least priority.
Since last month, I’ve been very active, achieving my 150 heart points/per week goal without fail. I use Google Fit (call me Old School!). How do I get myself into this routine?
I found a preschool for my kid 20 minutes away from my home. My husband drops her at school in the morning. I go for pickup (sometimes I run for pickup). You are getting my point.
We did not give in to the luxury of using a car or public transport for school pickup and drop-off. We both walk 40 minutes a day without even noticing it. Over 5000 Steps, 30 heart points a day and 3 kgs of weight loss within a month.
One inch loss in my waist, This is huge for me!
I even find myself running when It’s getting late. Sometimes, I even shout, “Woo hoo!”, when I climb into the subway(I use the cycleway). Why should I skip having fun?
For me, it’s school pickup.
For you, it could be anything that you choose that you can not skip doing every day.
Buying milk from a store which is 20 mins away by a walk. Cycling your way to your office everyday. Taking a walk with your bestie while gossiping (lol!)
Choose an activity, couple it with your daily life and see yourself not skipping it.
