How Much Did I Earn?

What a roller coaster of a month, from my first article to my first follower Alexander Kant, then onto my first article that earned me some money.
Wow, it was all very scary, time after time, I simply got rejected from publications, I was told that my articles were no good, I did not have the experience required etc.
How would I ever make it on this wonderful platform?
I thought, long and hard what to do.
I know, let's go back to my roots, which is hard work, have a great attitude, have the dedication to the cause, build good relationships with other members, oh, and hope for a bit of luck along the way.
I also took inspiration from others, one that I have not mentioned in my articles is Shelby Church, go and check her out, she is awesome, both on Medium and YouTube, which is where I first found her.
I have heard a lot of stories about other people’s first few months on Medium, where they had made a few dollars then decided that it was too much work and gave up, of course, that is not my attitude.
So, I set myself daily goals, then weekly goals, naturally my monthly goal was also set and achieved.
I have decided, that at least in the short term, I will reveal my monthly statistics on Medium, and hope this may help other new members think of their own realistic target to achieve.
I can reveal to you that my goal for August was to earn $10, this appears to be the most common target for new writers for their first month, I am sure people have earned a lot more than this, and some a lot less, still I had nothing to judge it on so $10 would do for me.
As you can see, my actual earnings need up being $44.20 for August, I will take that, thank you very much, I am not going to retire on this money, however, I feel encouraged by it.
I can reveal now, my target for September is $80, and I will only be online for three weeks, so this may be a push too far, but hey! it’s me, and I believe in myself to deliver this amount.
What every the result are, I will share them with you on October 1st, wish me luck.
