The season affects my account. During the holidays, I receive fewer orders, but it increases rapidly after January.

Freelancing is the fastest-growing online business. Anyone can do it from the comfort of their home. The only thing you need is a good internet connection and a healthy profile on the freelancing sites. I have listed a few here.

One of my favorite places to find clients is Fiverr. I have tried Upwork and Freelancer as well. But I prefer Fiverr more as it’s easy to use (publish a good SEO-optimized gig), and clients trust Fiverr a lot.

  1. It’s easy to use — just publish a good, competitive SEO-optimized gig.
  2. Clients trust Fiverr a lot — over 4.3 million active buyers (I am a buyer myself!)
  3. You don’t have to be on Fiverr every single minute — no bidding system

Tip — Have an account on one platform. Managing multiple accounts can be difficult,

How I increase sales for my Fiverr Gigs —

There are many parameters involved in making a good Fiverr account. I am mentioning here a few that will help you get a higher conversion rate on Fiverr.

  1. Active Gigs — Have good reviews of your gigs. Your latest review matters a lot!
  2. Good Profile — You should be able to state in a few words your expertise. Buyers are often in a hurry. So make sure you are able to state your expertise in a few words.
  3. Niche matters — no one needs a seller who can do a little bit of everything!
  4. Pricing — Have a basic and a platinum package for your client. My long-term buyers first went for my few-dollar gigs.
  5. Marketing — I get most of the orders through the Fiverr site alone. But I also market my gigs on my Twitter account. I am not sure if it works on any other social media platforms or not, but Twitter has proved a blessing for me. (Tip: Use the same profile name everywhere.)

Conclusion

Fiverr is like any other marketplace. I try to keep a good Fiverr profile (2 profiles) and also make sure that I have good connections with buyers.

Remember, buyers are everything! Keep them happy, and chances are that they will tip you or become lifelong customers.
