How I Earned More Money on News Break Than Medium in Less Time

Earning money on two platforms is better than one

Next month is one year mark with Medium, and I will more than likely make more money on News Break than Medium. It is surprising since I could do that one-third of the time. If you are sitting on the fence about writing for NewsBreak, I encourage you to apply. You never know how your work will do on this new platform.

But there is always a but.

If you decide to write for NewsBreak, you need to be serious.

Be committed as a writer and put in the work. Nothing in life comes easy, especially as a writer.

When I first started, I did not know what to do and was lost for a few weeks. Basically, I didn’t block out time to write for this platform.

If you decide to join, you need to find the time or block out time in your schedule to write for this platform.

Recently News Break went through a change in pay, and you will earn money. Under the platform, I have a few views on some articles and News Break stated you would get paid at least $25 per article. The maximum limit they will pay writers is $1,500 a month for articles.

This is not bad since most of my Medium articles don’t reach double digits on this site.

News Break Facebook sites you should join

There are three Facebook accounts that support News Break writers. Each one gives you different support. I recommend you should join all three.

The main News Break Official Creator Forum is a group managed by the company itself. They try to answer questions you may have, but their response time is slow. From a message someone in the company sent before, they don’t have a lot of personnel to read and respond to every question asked. So choose your questions carefully and also search if someone else has asked the same question before.

For the next two groups, they are similar but different. They have their own group rules.

The second one is basically a News Break writer’s group called the News Break Creator Forum.

Then the third group was created by Medium writer Sinem Günel and Philip Hofmacher called News Break Creator Program Mastermind.

I’ve been pleasantly surprised since I joined NewsBreak a few months ago. I didn’t know what to expect. Sometimes having an open mind to new possibilities pays off.

Though my time is limited, as I’m sure your time is as well. I’ve worked out how to continue to write on both platforms. I will keep writing on Medium and NewsBreak.
