How I Deal With Intermittent Fasting To Lose Weight
On some days of the week, I do intermittent fasting with my own creation of bulletproof coffee. Perhaps you can consider doing this to lose weight and maintain your body in shape.

To think fasting is difficult especially when we suffer a gastrointestinal problem, yet I manage to deal with it once or twice a week and have been doing it for 3 years now.
My own way of understanding why people should fast is not about religion. I fast to better cleanse my body that leads me to better health and in good health and shape. Not too bulgy and not too skinny.
Today, I will share how to deal with intermittent fasting, and maybe you can try, provided you are not on medication. Here’s what I do.
We start with 3 simple ingredients:
- Brewed coffee if you have access to it.
- A teaspoon slice of quality butter
- A tablespoon of virgin coconut oil or a tablespoon of cold press olive oil. Organic type if you can get it is advisable because they smell and taste better in comparison to the normal type. Besides, you are consuming these ingredients almost directly. It is best to get the best quality.
A simple blender that you can get is needed to add every ingredient and blend it well to have that taste needed.
We called it bulletproof coffee. I am sure you have heard about bulletproof coffee before.

Mixing or blending all ingredients until it turns creamy is what I do.
What Happens When I Drink bulletproof coffee?
When I was starting with bulletproof coffee, it felt sourish. I cut down some ingredients and that suited my taste.
It makes you feel very thirsty that you keep drinking water. If you are not a water drinker before, it makes you drink more. You have that feeling of urgency.
Never drink carbonated soda if you like to cleanse your body and wanting to lose some weight.
For me, drinking a lot of water makes me feel clean and light. To avoid wanting soda water, I drink lemon water instead.

How I count the hours of Intermittent fasting?
My last meal at night usually finishes at 8 in the evening. From here onward, I do not eat any solid food or another type of drinks aside from water. This happens if I plan to do intermittent fasting the following day.
I count from 9 in the evening until I wake up the following morning at 7 am.
First, I drink my usual hot lemon water with about 2–3 glasses of normal temperature water following that. 10 Minutes later, I drink my created bulletproof coffee.
When you are just starting out, it can last you not eating until lunchtime like 11 in the morning to 1:00 PM. Not eating for 15 to 17 hours on some days makes me feel great.

What results do I get?
Doing intermittent fasting even for 1 to 2 times a week, my tummy has a shape and I keep my weight from 49–52 kilograms. This is an ideal weight for my height.
In addition, with exercise and eating healthier option food, we can be in our better self and shape.
