How Daydreaming Will Significantly Improve Your Life
Dream big and let the Universe deliver

Everything you can imagine is real.~Pablo Picasso
Stop being practical and imagine the life you crave.
I told my nearly 8-year-old daughter to dream big on her birthday wish list. Dream house is on her list, next to dog, cat, horse and bunny.
Of course that’s not happening yet. But so what? Dreaming big doesn’t have to match your current reality. She wrote down her deepest desires on paper with conviction. She made a request and is prepared to accept what’s offered. That’s powerful stuff.
When we visualize, speak and write about what we want, answers come. We find ways to bring it to us. We’re led to the right person at the right time. We pay attention to clues because we’re tuned in.
When you lose yourself in a daydream, you find freedom.
Don’t hold back. The Universe is willing to provide all that you’re ready to receive.
Imagination costs nothing and gives you everything you desire. The daydream on its own is a pleasurable experience. You’re free to go and do anything you wish.
I’ve always wanted to fly. I imagine myself spreading my wings and ascending into blue skies with ease. I’m near-sighted and I dream I can see without glasses. I’m single and I dream of my lover’s embrace, imagining our lifetime partnership together. I live in the city, and I imagine our little house in the middle of nowhere on the edge of somewhere.
We’re all free to imagine our favorite scenarios. Allow, and so you shall have all that you seek.
If one advances confidently in the direction of one’s dreams, and endeavors to live the life which one has imagined, one will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.”~Henry David Thoreau
You shift your mindset.
Daydreaming shifts our perception to gratitude and appreciation of all that’s possible. If I’m in a not-so-great mood, I find one good thing around me and think about that instead. Even when other things aren’t going well, I refocus my energy to what’s working and beautiful in the world.
Here’s an example. As we walked out our front door this morning, I smelled exhaust. It was so unpleasant, I purposely looked for something else to place my focus upon. I heard the sweet familiar chirp of the birds who visit our tree every day. How joyful they sound.
Do you know what happened? I no longer smelled the exhaust. It’s not that it wasn’t still there. I simply shifted my focus to the birds. Pretty amazing, right?
You let go of fear and doubt
Many of us doubt our successes and joyful experiences because we’re afraid. We’re afraid we can’t have nice things because we lack faith that they’ll come to fruition.
Faith comes from a belief in something that isn’t always evident. If it’s not obvious enough, we tend to push it aside as a possibility.
For example, I want my dream home that’s “out there” somewhere and not where I currently live. if I could only get “there”, I’d be happy. But I’m not, so I feel the lack of it. If I focus on the times I’ve lived in old, broken down apartments, I’ll surely not see any way to that dream home.
I take a few simple steps to acquire faith. I start with intentional visualization. I picture how it looks and feels like in my dream home. I imagine infinite possibilities. My heart knows it’s coming together. I begin to believe when it’s not yet in front of me. I write down what I see and it feels so real.
Here’s what’s important. I focus on what I like about my current living space. Then I notice the shift. Everything that used to bother me is gone. I pay attention to what works and forget about what doesn’t, and life is easier. I’ve also opened the door for something better.
You allow your biggest desires to flow through you
Daydreaming makes us aware of what we actually want. We often limit ourselves, our thoughts on what we can’t do instead of what’s possible. Daydreaming is supposed to be easy and fun. It encompasses the wild, wonderful expansion of our world.
Visualization is known to help ball players win games. So why not you? What’s stopping you from living your best life?
Honestly, we all tend to stand in our own way. So let that part of you who wants to dream do their thing. Once you let go of limitations, there’s no stopping you.
I visualize more money and it comes. Even found coins send us messages. That’s why they’re called lucky pennies. They’re a sign of abundance.
What’s funny about that is I know I’m still limiting myself to a “realistic” amount, just enough to get by. If I want to do what I’m suggesting here, I‘ll imagine more than enough. Writing about this gave me the message to dream bigger.
Daydreams have no limit. So go ahead, explore and imagine your deepest desires. You know you have plenty, so why not go for it?
You discover ideas to manifest your dreams.
Anytime we open the portal, we find answers to what we can do to manifest our desires.
It may seem like we’re just sitting around doing nothing. Let go of the judgment that you’re being lazy. Remember, you’re taking action for your dreams to come true.
I was led here because I dreamed of being a writer for a living. My intuition told me to ask some questions. Someone said to try this site, so I followed their guidance.
Now I get to practice my skills, gain valuable insight and make money from writing.
I see myself as an author of best-selling books, my memoir and the power of gratitude. It’ll happen because I believe it will.
Dream big and watch your life expand.
Daydreaming sparks creativity. We create our own reality by imagining it into being. Deliberate creation brings dream into our current life experiences. Create your ideal world in dreams, and watch them unfold.
Everything you’ve ever had began with a dream. So, go ahead and dream big.
Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.~Harriet Tubman
