Horrible Things Are Bound To Happen
Perseverance is the secret to thriving

“Here’s a rule of life: You don’t get to pick what bad things happen to you.”
– Rory Miller
Nobody knows when or why horrible things happen. We must seek a higher source for our answers. Are you living in survival mode, or are you thriving?
When our minds are not focused on the right things in life, we go on autopilot and survival mode checks on. However, with a bit of purposeful mind-shifting, we can begin to thrive again.
When our minds are overworked on worries in life, they are being lured into a world of delusional thoughts filled with doubt.
Being in a constant state of stress isn’t healthy. Breaking out of that world of dysfunction is urgent.
Breaking out of a gloomy mindset
To break out of a thought pattern that leaves you feeling discouraged isn’t an easy task. Your thoughts can sound like a broken record skipping over and over the same gloomy ideas.
When our thoughts are negative, we become reactive. To overcome the pessimism invading our life, we must change the stories we tell ourselves. Capturing the voice of defeat isn’t easy but necessary one scenario at a time.
Being stuck in a reactive mode is draining and riddles your body with anxiety. In return, you are anything but motivated to change. When this happens, catch twenty-two takes place, making change even harder.
Breaking into the now
In order to break out from a state of chronic worry will take a plan with a focus on the now. It’s one thing to reflect on the past for healing but even healing correctly is essential. Tackling doable action steps one problem at a time is necessary.
Being in the future nowadays might bring more fear than good. For example, it’s one thing to want to improve your finances, but thinking that you have to have your entire portfolio complete might be overkill.
It’s deflating when you are already feeling overwhelmed. You must be in a stable mindset to handle the more significant challenges in life.
Making a plan to be in the present moment is vital for seeking a better way. When you can relax and be who you were born to be is a game-changer.
Trusting in a higher source while believing God’s plans are promising. We are not supposed to worry. We need to remind ourselves of this a moment at a time. It is being thankful for where you are now.
The fact that you have made it here in life is hopeful. Rest awhile and come up with an action plan to break repetitious behaviours that are not healthy.
Breaking repetitive patterns
Some behaviors when your mind is in a negative realm of gloom cannot only be self-sabotaging but entirely sinful as well.
When you start longing for another life, one without troubles, it’s serious. First of all, there isn’t a doubt-free life, and also, it creates an illusion of a fantasy world. Wishing your life was completely different is a scary world.
Breaking a pattern isn’t impossible, but capturing and then replacing those draining thoughts with positive thoughts of hope can bring about a breakthrough.
Hope for a breakthrough
Breaking your difficulties down can immediately help ease anxiety, depression, envy, jealousy, anger, or even denial. It can give you a sense of being proactive instead of reactive.
Being in a chronic state of worry has no place in a person’s life who is thriving. Eliminating fear by refocusing on the good one moment at a time will bring about a new perspective.
Squeezing out worry to make room for hope is the only way. Will you reach out to a higher source?

I am thankful for my relationship with the Lord. No matter how far I drift, he always answers me when I call.
He provides a solution for my troubles without being critical or bossy. I’m thankful for a breakthrough in my thinking.
I am thankful for Trista Signe Ainsworth publication, Thank You Notes. Her topics somehow align with my life weekly. This week’s topic of reaching out with love has brought me to higher ground. God’s line of communication is always available. Won’t you please reach out in love?
