Hope in the Midst of Despair

Poetry Prompt: Hope

Hope is that ray of light illuminating from beyond the horizon giving faith to beings lost in darkness, lost to the perils and evil that exist in a world filled with betrayal and madness, a glance into this being and discover the secrets lying within hate, despair, confusion…and hope?

A glimmer of hope flickers and breathes life into this being whose soul has now awakened, the awakened soul is infused by light a light that illuminates like the horizon, a being rises with newfound faith that reveals the inevitable reality— there is hope in the midst of despair.
