Hope|Sonnet
The Oriental Lilies Are Blooming
The beautiful Lilies hope to spread love and peace

The pink Lilies bloom and smile happily, They merrily swing and sway in the wind, The whiff of their perfume is heavenly. Looking at them I am feeling cheerful.
I clap with glee and look at the flowers, Reflecting my happiness at their bloom, Excitedly, I blow a kiss to them, They give a message of tranquillity.
More Lily buds can be seen every day, They stand stately and proud looking at me, I feel their vibrations touching my heart, The beautiful flowers bring happiness
The Oriental Lilies are blooming, With the hope of spreading love, peace, and warmth
The Oriental Lilies in my little garden looked like a painting. They looked beautiful. Each day they kept giving a feeling of hope for spreading love, peace, and warmth. They touched my heart! I could not help but writing a sonnet on the Lilies. It took me a long time. The words would not come. I was mesmerized by them
Finally, with Geetika Sethi’s prompt, it just got completed. This sonnet is also dedicated to my friend William J Spirdione who clicks his own pictures and writes beautiful sonnets. I am motivated by his dedication to writing sonnets.I do hope that he will also write a sonnet on ‘Hope’
I did not think of accepting any challenge on poetry because I had written quite a few poems. Geetika Sethi tagged me and I could not refuse. Sahil Patel had already tagged me so I am continuing the game and hope others will follow. Josh Balerite Acol writes so many forms of poetry so I do hope that she writes a poem on ‘Hope’. Bhavna Narula may find it intersting too. I invite Melanie J. and Dr Fatima Imam, Lanu Pitan, Holly Kellums Dr Michael Heng, @Yohanan Gregorius janny’s heart Sumera Rizwan Noorain Hassan, BMS
