Hollywood movies these days are about indoctrination.
The effects are ours to deal with

I have had quite a busy week but Fridays are the best, I get to sit down with my good friend and have one of the best conversations of the week. We talk about stuff that’s happening around us, our endeavors, and plans for the future and sometimes we get to talk about things we see online or mainstream. I think this past Friday was most enjoyable. Sorry if I will offend anyone reading this. I mean no offense, I am perplexed and trying to understand some stuff.
It all started as an innocent conversation about the movies we watched the past few days. Suddenly, my friend describes a girl in one of the houses in the Tv show Game of Thrones kissing in some movie. I was a little shocked so I asked;
“how old is she now? Is she even supposed to be kissing on the tv at her age?” Then my friend said; “I think she is of age now. I think you are thinking of her as the small girl who started the movie.”
My friend later mentioned he wasn’t even worried about her kissing, but he has noticed a lot of the main plot of the movies or tv shows could go without any sexual defiance either by minors or adults but they always make it about that, and then same-sex agenda. Again, like trying to reassure the public that it's okay to do so. My friend's name is Eric. He said he watched a movie recently. Recently even cartoons from my childhood have all been about some kind of gender war. Truthfully, Spider-Man is just Spider-Man. It wasn’t about misogyny. If I am not mistaken it's an unfortunate kid bitten by a spider. He then uses his power to do good. The fact you have to incorporate a female hero actor into an already existing (decades) male hero means you don't even know what you are doing. If you fighting misogyny or gender equality or fighting whatever internet war people are fighting these days, my suggestion is to create a female hero without using the male hero's identity. Make her an independent hero character. Don’t go back and forth, you diffuse the strength of the plot and make it weak. It's like you try to retell the story each time there is a new agenda on board. That way, people like me still get to keep the memories of my childhood cartoons because when I watched them I didn't think of misogyny, patriarchy, or anything people these days are talking about. All I know was it was a man fighting the bad guys. Now, if a woman was fighting some bad guys, create a separate character that doesn't necessarily need to come from somewhere like Catwoman or something.
You know back in the days before the Internet, if the government wanted the public to know about something or if a private individual wanted to advertise something, the radio was the best place to go. They will keep it on the radio morning afternoon and evening. Let’s say some of the movie Decadence is a film trick where it seems like they are the ones kissing, but actually, It’s just a computer trick. My question remains, what's the agenda? Every movie these days try to fit in the gay agenda. I don't mean that in a bad way but in simple fact for example;
The Last Kingdom, is a tv show most of us have watched. After you watched the whole series, what comes to mind? For me, it's the fighting, the squabbles between the Danes and Saxons, the rituals, etc. Recently, the new movie just started off by showing the same-sex agenda again. Excuse me to use this severally. The reason I do so is, you can’t watch a five-season Tv show with anything emphasized on sex then suddenly in a movie you go straight to showing us same-sex intercourse. Yet again another theory everyone has heard. “In the old days, there were gays, they were scared to come out.” Yes! maybe, same as some people argued if there were female Viking rulers which the Tv show portrayed and a lot of people could say they were trying to zhuzh up the Tv show to make it more enjoyable. What’s interesting about watching a brilliant tv show with family and suddenly its switches to something else? Does this need to be in everything? Can we do like porn websites, put everything in a category so we know what we are waiting for when we click on a category?
We also had to make a deep dive into seeing the other side of things and what each individual will allow as normal contrary to what is exploding on the internet. So we went ahead to agree on some stuff and we did disagree on a lot too. Most importantly some facts were stated that I wanted to use in my writing of this blog.
So, we watched a British journalist, Piers Morgan talked about the fact that now we have 100 genders. That means some people identify themselves differently from the norm. Growing up, I knew about heterosexuals and homosexuals, though homosexuality wasn’t a common topic. The journalist then stated that, if people have to identify as whatever they want just because of how they feel, it annuls every sensible reason for homosexuality even being identified as normal (a man trapped in the woman’s body or a woman trapped in a man’s body). I have to say; I agree with him to some extent on this, since a lot of people are making a great effort to understand what it takes for two people with the same gender to be attracted to one another, or more specifically, a man going through a surgical procedure to become a woman, and then being told there are 100 other genders to identify with. Can you tell me if I’m wrong in thinking that this might be part of a bigger agenda? Some people take advantage of actual situations to make fun of others or make a financial profit. I don’t think anyone’s sexuality matters if they are good at their job. Yes! I say this because some people even have to pretend. After all, some job description seems to be for specific kind of people.
“A good designer is not good at his job because of who he sleeps with but, because he is talented, gifted and diligent at his job”
I know most people think every man has it easy out here but this has also, on a deeper level, made men that are feminine in behavior, commonly referred to as “effeminate men” have to forcefully identify with a particular group or else considered as being in the closet or canceled — hashtag cancel culture. That being said, some of them are heterosexual and don’t get that many male friends because they assume they are gay. And some women look masculine and behave masculinely and now identify with a particular group because the mainstream tells them if they look or behave that way then they are what they(mainstream) say they are. Later on, people like this find themselves with a lot of identity crises.
My friend and I went on and on about this for a long time, I won’t bore you with a lot of it but to conclude this point we did have a few questions on our minds. Two questions! If people openly expressed their fetish, would we then have to label it as part of their sexuality? Can some of these cases of identity crises/ sexual preferences be considered psychosis?
Secondly, the common association of the word “progressive” with everything is overrated. Some societies are yet to understand what makes something progressive, how it becomes progressive, and what the criteria are to consider something progressive whether it’s a law or an idea. After allowing it to be a law or be the norm, what is the outcome and how detrimental are the consequences? Are they mild or enormous? Will it open the door to other things which should remain in the back door? Something considered a norm or a law doesn’t automatically make things natural or right but, allows time for society to adhere to it from the time that it is promulgated or enacted.
The ex-president of Kenya, the Ugandan president, and many others were called for an interview about their stand on allowing same-sex relationships. There is something people don’t understand. Some of these presidents may not be popular amongst their peers but are not wrong in defending the values of their people. Wherever you are, look at your streets. We have young men and women leaving the African continent and flooding your continent, which not everyone likes for a fact! But the reason they are there is because of the back door, cut-rope politics that leaves the average person with barely enough. So a man sells his last property and sends his child or two of his children away, hoping that someday they come back to save the others. Whatever is left on the table is swindled by those in power. In my country, Cameroon, we have roads that have been under construction since I was a kid and some have cost more than a billion dollars. Now all an average person wants is to send his kids to school, provide for his family, be able to get a plot of land, and construct a befitting house for him and his family or at least die leaving something for his kids. We have no health care; we have no free education, passing administrative exams is hardly by merit meaning the trail of corruption has to continue and the public servant, I didn’t even talk of politicians, is richer than the businessman, etc. That is by the way.
It’s not because they don’t want to talk about it but it’s also not part of their cultural values. Has anyone ever thought about that? Do you know some people have never cried in their life not because they can’t or don’t want to, they have suppressed their feelings so much so that they only know their name? What am I trying to say? Some of us have seen a lot and most of us are still carrying childhood trauma around. We are far-fetched from discussing our feeling, not for now at least. Give us time to solve our major problems. Homosexuality is not everyone’s fundamental problem. It’s not even a problem, it’s a concern. Some parts of the world have bigger issues. so trying to infiltrate it in movies and magazines only makes us concerned about the agenda behind it.
What if our concerns were more about boosting our economy, giving jobs to everyone qualified no matter their sexual orientation, is that so bad? Because that’s where we stand right now. How many times has an ex-pat in a foreign country been told “Go back to where you come from”, so it won’t be bad to do something about it, building the industrial and economic sector other than talking about sexual desires? Or, especially in Europe right now, do all Europeans like the flocks of Africans in their continent, especially the men? So why do people stand on a moral ground about something that has no real foundation? And this brings me to my third point.
When did we start feeding our kids with rubbish from television? I grew up not having any sensor on our TV but we had a manual sensor that was my mom. If there was kissing in the movie, then it was time for bed. But now we should allow strangers, be it teachers or elites introduce sex to our kids, no matter what kind of sexual orientation. I grew up knowing a teacher gets into a class introduces himself/ herself and then starts the lesson. Mind you, the introduction had no sexuality attached to it. I used to remember a saying that goes; “ whatever you do in your bedroom stays in your bedroom”. What made people feel the need to discuss privacy with kids? So A B C doesn’t work anymore. So we don’t teach phonics anymore, we have to put private parts into it. As I said no matter your sexual orientation does that give you the right to talk about that kind of stuff or make cartoons for kids kissing at a young age? why can’t they grow up and make those choices?
We had to stretch this for a long while. I could understand him because he just had his first child. At some point I could see his hands shaking as he talked, we had to stop for a while before coming back to the topic. Some topics are not easy to maneuver. I know even as I am writing this, I will still be misunderstood or canceled, or insulted for talking about this. I think this is the most difficult thing to talk about these days. Most people get easily offended, and even jokes are not allowed.
Sam Smith the musician at a concert was dressed up like nothing I have ever seen before just to prove a point — I think. So I kept asking myself, what is the point? Is it musical talent or nudity? No one is saying don’t do as you want but when you put it out in the public eye, you invite people to criticize whether in a positive way or a bad way. Most times, things like this even make it a red flag factor.
Anyways, I think the movie industries have to rethink their purpose, which we know is making money, but at what cost? Parents have to be more careful than before about what their kids watch on tv or listen to and the friends they keep. Society these days is more of a sham. Everyone acts differently in public while they are someone else in private. Everyone is either trying to stay at the top or get to the top and damn consequences.
“Do you really know what is funny? what goes around comes around.”
This is my humble opinion, little things not big ones can bring down a house. I only hope they catch up before it's too late. Recently some parts of Asia censor movies and Tv shows before they are put on screen. This way, they have a normal society, with kids far-off from profanity.
In a nutshell, as adults, it’s our responsibility to care for the next generation. It is essential to keep in touch with our roots. It is ok to curb some of the toxicity of the past so we can better the future but, it’s stupidity if a nation or a group of people indulge in the manipulation of people for whatever gains to the detriment of the next generation. Also, prevention is better than cure.
