A Lonely Orphan
He is still alive!
A grain of joy,
pop up in a jiffy and,
never last for a minute.
whilst the riches of gloom, uncertainty, and unease fill the wallet.
As healthy but lusting for relief that never lingers.
So he lives every day as it comes because that’s all.
As he imagines, what if it suddenly changes?
Maybe adulthood brings solace.
Woefully, it crumbles and shakes the walls; all you see is darkness.
Neither forward nor backward is.
Even now, conviction with a slide taste of yearning is a long-held magnet as time passes.
