Hoard Your Time at All Costs
It’s your most valuable asset — don’t give it away for free.
I’ve realized that the older I get, the less time and patience I have left to give.
Why would I waste my energy chasing after a “friend” who doesn’t give me two seconds of their day? Who cares what they think of me?
Or sending writing pitches to a massive publication and getting ghosted for weeks on end? I want my writing to have eyeballs on it, so I’ll find my audience elsewhere.
My time is mine alone. Nobody is entitled to it. I’ve learned to hoard it and invest it sparingly.
The golden rule of life is to make time deposits you won’t regret.
I’d love to know: what will you be investing your precious time into this year?
