Hidden Dreams
“Reality is wrong. Dreams are for real.” ~ Tupac Shakur

I’ve got ideas, plans, and dreams just as does everyone else, or so it seems
I suspect my ideas are plagiarized and my plans may also be compromised
And the plans I make are often overshadowed researched, curtailed, and even outsmarted
My dreams are hidden deep inside where none see, listen, nor deride
Safely they hide within my left ventricle free from the prying eyes of the skeptical
They live in a space vast deep and wide uninterrupted, diligently they reside
My ideas can be seen when I set them to work as others use them often — but it does not hurt
I oblige the world, as new ideas come fresh to mind to weave masterpieces stellar and sublime
Despitefully my plans are scoffed at as trash which makes me feel feeble, and disoriented — I crash
Ardently I dig my plans from their dismissed wordage just as quickly as they were tossed away as garbage
In the silence, I listen to each step guided by Wisdom’s grace then trusting the universe, courageously I place
Faith — up front — watch my choices emerge and manifest dynamically my ideas, plans, and dreams are blessed.
We all are endowed with the power to create without the need to thieve or perpetrate
In some cases, our ideas may not be new, And yes, our plans may be hazy and few,
Our dreams are within us, fueled by hope honoring our aims, we guard them and cope
And yet the suspicious questions remain Are our dreams ever free from thefts or claims?
“Dreams are just thoughts until we bring them to live and thrive outside ourselves” ~ AH
Have you ever noticed that as soon as you have a bright new idea someone else has the same or nearly the same one too?*
It happens all the time. You are about to speak a thing and someone else says it just as it is on the tip of your tongue.
What is that called when two or more people have the same thought simultaneously? There is a term for it.
I recall when I was a young and blooming grandma, with three of my grands living with me, I had fresh new ideas popping out of my head daily.
Sometimes I would make things for my grands and visit another city and see my latest creation on someone and think of how I had already designed that exact thing. Maybe a bit differently, but mainly the same idea.
I made super large cartoon characters from fabric scraps then sewed them onto t-shirts for the kiddos and everyone loved them. I visited Houston years later and saw my idea — not sewn on — drawn on t-shirts. The whole summer I kept seeing the huge drawings of cartoon characters on the shirts. My daughter mentioned that I should have marketed my ideas years before.
I believe we are all connected through telepathic frequencies and sometimes we tap into the creation or novel thought at the exact times. We may act on it and other times we may not. Often too late we realize as we see others marketing the very thought we had and shrugged it.
Mind readers, clairvoyants, psychics — you name it — have known what others were thinking at some point. We may as well get used to the fact that others may be thinking just what we were thinking about, and sometimes, it might be exactly that thought. Who knows?
