Summarize

Hi. My name is Kamna Kirti

Life-Long Learner, Fervent, Authentic and Vulnerable

Kamna Kirti

I have been a ‘jack of all, master of none’ in the last couple of years. Doing a monotonous 9–5 job hasn’t always been my cup of tea.

Long story short — I have worked in IT for 9 years as a Data Engineer, a part-time Zumba instructor, a Toastmaster, an aspiring speaker, an amateur food blogger and recently started writing on medium.

The day I joined Toastmasters in 2018, I started writing and giving speeches. And then I moved to States, quitting my full time job in India, I had ample amount of time in my pocket; I wondered why not showcase my writing to wider audience when I had bundle of stories in my bucket! And fortunately, I came across the platform Medium and started my writing journey.

Writing is therapeutic

I have always embraced my vulnerability. And joining medium has given me all the time to think and write about the stories I am willing to tell the world.

Writing is a therapy that forces me to brain-storm, churn my mind, research, read, learn, unlearn and pen down my thoughts. It’s a wholesome process to bring the better version of myself and communicate with the world.

Writing has given a kick-start to my speaking abilities. Earlier, when I had to give an impromptu speaking, I was tongue-tied and clueless. But, writing is enhancing my perspective, making me vigilant about the happenings around the world.

My medium articles

My first ever article for ‘Fearless she wrote’ publication was curated this week on medium.

I am a flag-bearer to lead a purposeful and productive life. My article for ‘A few words’ publication.

And, the day I quit my full time job for ‘Fearless she wrote’ publication has received an over-whelming response from readers.

Closing thoughts

“You must be shapeless, formless, like water. When you pour water in a cup, it becomes the cup. When you pour water in a bottle, it becomes the bottle. When you pour water in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Water can drip and it can crash. Become like water my friend.” — Bruce Lee
