Hello neighbors. I wanted to stop by with a bit of no-news. Yeah, that’s right, Medium has been eerily or predictably quiet on the subject I posted about yesterday. For those who missed all of the hubbubs, here it is.

Is this a rant, RC? Yeah, it is. After seeing a comment made by Medium’s resident Mr. Clever (I’ll let you guess) this evening on barry robinson post, I thought I would weigh in.

When a writer is in the mood to rant or is pissed off about something, let them have at it. The last thing I would be sharing with anyone in this frame of mind is, “Well, remember when times were good or when you were happy?”

Screw that. Rant on Barry!

That post of mine, for 34 responses from you, dear friends, has generated $1.86. Simple math means that your time to read was a donation, and each of your comments was worth around half a cent. Pathetic!

So yeah, Medium, I’m pissed. And I’m sure many others are, too.

So, tell us, Tony, was August just a mirage or an early Christmas present? Or your way of giving all a Boost of sorts.

And while you're not telling us why September has turned into shit, you could forewarn us that October will be even worse.

Remember that membership boost that you got in August, Medium? And I’m sure September also brought a boatload of revenue your way.

With how things look on my side of the ledger, you may lose far more members than you’ve gained. Just saying.
