Here’s Why Some Unprofessional Writers Make More Money Than Professional Content Creators
There is a difference between quality and quantity…
Professional and top writers know that a balance needs to be maintained between quality and quantity. They manage time many times a week to share some great stories with their readers. It may not be possible for them to write something every single day, but they still want to be active so that their followers don’t get bored.
On the other hand, unprofessional writers spend most of their time publishing low-quality stories. I am not calling any of my fellow writers unprofessional. What I am saying is that the focus should be on improving our writing so that we can actually come up with the expectations of readers.
Why Unprofessional Writers Make More Money Than Professional Content Creators?
There could be a couple of reasons.
- The Reputation — In my opinion, unprofessional writers make more money because they are not worried about their reputation. They only want to get a lot of eyeballs, and for this purpose, they keep telling stories that are worthless. On the other hand, professional writers worry about their image. They are concerned about the selection of the topics. They never want to publish articles that would waste the time of their target audiences.
- The Focus — The focus of unprofessional writers is on making enough money and gaining enough followers every single day. They keep begging for likes, shares, and comments and spend most of their time talking about how to get published with the big publications. Compared to this, professional writers work silently. Their focus is on giving their best to the reader and they do not overshare their content.
- The Headlines — It is okay to write clickbait titles or headlines, but the content should be as valuable and great as the title. Unprofessional writers write clickbait headlines but fail to provide meaningful details to their readers. On the other hand, professional writers don’t care about the title of the content. They only want their readers to get as much information from their pieces as possible.
- Plagiarism — I have seen some writers stealing the content ideas or titles of others. I would not call such people professionals because they actually don’t know the importance of unique work. They are always after money, and they keep looking for articles whose ideas can be stolen. Professional writers never do so.
