Here Is The Hottest Hangout Place in Markham Today

I’m taking you to Downtown Markham!

You might have heard of Downtown Toronto. Yes, that is where all the clubs, business hubs, and classy restaurants live. But have you heard of Downtown Markham? Downtown Markham is the newest place to hang around if you’re north of Toronto.

Downtown Markham is the high-tech capital of Markham.

You’ll see giant high-tech companies housing their headquarters in Downtown Markham, like IBM, Lenovo, Huawei Technologies and many more.

That’s not all. Downtown Markham is home to many restaurants and premium retail stores. It’s also close to Rouge National Park, the Markham Pan Am Centre and houses York University’s Markham campus. Wow!

There is still a lot being developed and we will see Downtown Markham expanding its reach even further.

Carousel

What do you mean there is a carousel? That’s right. The Pride of Canada Carousel is right in the middle of Downtown Markham. Take your kids for a fun ride! It will cost you $3 for a ride, $5 for 2, or $20 for 10. It’s open daily from 11 am-9 pm, weather permitting.

P.S. Just beside the carousel, you’ll find a small skating rink! There is something to do even if the carousel is closed during the winter.
