10 Things You Didn’t Know About Me
My life is so boring, I almost changed the title to 5 things!

Thanks to a tag from Adrienne Beaumont (see her article below!), I had the pleasure of writing this fun article!
I suppose this article is a unique spinoff from the original About Me I wrote.
So, here we go! Here are 10 things that you didn’t know about me!
01 Biking Idiot
I didn’t learn to ride a bike until a few years ago. I’m so embarrassed to admit this! No idea why I didn’t learn as a kid.
I can bike now, but I’m still not very good at it. I always keep to small and quiet streets, so I don’t have to avoid anybody with my clumsiness!
02 Animal Lover
I grew up with many animals. Our family always had dogs when I was growing up.
We also expanded to cats later on! I’ve also had fish, turtles, a hamster, birds, and mice.

03 English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
I learned conversational mandarin by myself by watching tv, singing karaoke, and asking friends for help.
I can converse in simple conversations without too much trouble.
Don’t speak too fast or use a lot of slang though!
04 Struggling YouTuber
Besides being a writer on Medium, I’m also a Youtuber! I have two channels.
Life With Miu has videos on self-improvement, relaxing videos, and occasional hiking and eating vlogs.
Beauty with Miu talks about skincare products! I give 5-minute reviews on skincare products and share shopping hails as well.
05 French Immersion
I used to excel at French.
So much that I was placed in French immersion classes. Now I only remember some numbers and the days of the week and some random words!
06 Violinist!
I used to be a violinist too. I originally chose the flute, then I switched to the clarinet.
I realized I couldn’t do woodwind instruments because I didn’t have enough air! No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t get a peep out of any of the instruments. I was literally blue in the face!
So I changed to a string instrument. I wanted to play cello at first but the strings were too thick for my fingers, so I ended up with the violin.

07 Kid’s Clothes
I can wear children’s clothing. It often fits me the best. I’ll start by trying on the largest kid size and work down until I find a good fit.
08 Bring on the Action!
I love to watch action-packed shows and movies. Think 24, Blindspot, and Blacklist. Those are my favorite!
I’ll watch other shows too though. I loved Lucifer and Squidgame!
09 Food Galore!
I like to eat a lot. To avoid ending up too round for my liking, my solution is to exercise a lot. I’m super active.
If you’re interested to know my exercise regime, here’s an article I wrote on it.
I also love walking and hiking and enjoying the great outdoors.
