Her Invisible Void
A spoken word poem
She was there standing over a puddle, her reflection beaming with the innocence of a child lurking there was me observing to see what she would do next creating a curiosity similar to a wave approaching a shore waiting to know what will happen at meeting
On taking a step forward she found a handsome guy in the colorful clouds of her reflecting soul I could hear her heartbeat from afar echoing in my ears like her name does when I shout from the mountaintops
She took a piece of her heart wrapped it in her soul and ensured it to me for safekeeping only to be lost by this idiot who never realized the fragility of her soul who tossed her heart aside without an ounce of thought like the wind does to sand on the beach
As time progressed her stream of weeping effaced my imprint from her soul the color in her eyes faded like leaves in autumn
The clock kept ticking she held her hand forward to get back her soul and heart back Only to be left with an invisible void like the void in the vast space Unseen to the world
