Help! … I Need Somebody … To Help Me Send a Special Gift to The Queen
This is a genuine plea for your help … Have you any suggestions?

On 6th February 2022 Queen Elizabeth II became the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee.
This marked 70 years of service to the peoples of the United Kingdom, and the Realms and Commonwealth.
To celebrate this unprecedented anniversary, there were special celebrations throughout the year, and a special four-day UK holiday-weekend to mark the event was held (Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th June).
Special events for that weekend included Platinum Jubilee Beacons (lit all around the nation and in all commonwealth countries); The pageant of Trooping The Colour took place; A Service of Thanksgiving was held; The Epson Derby horse race; and The Big Jubilee Lunch, whereby all over Britain, and overseas too, giant street parties celebrated the Jubilee.
There were many commemorative products on sale in the shops ... like mugs and drinking glasses, tea towels and flags for people to wave. The official supplier of shortbread and oatcakes to the Queen … ‘Walkers’ of Aberlour in Scotland, produced this tartan-bordered biscuit tin:

There was even a specially painted railway engine: The Queen Elizabeth II

And I too had a special present for The Queen. I would have liked to send her majesty a special and unique presentation as part of this year’s celebrations, but I don’t know how to do it! … Can you help?
Let me tell you about my proposed gift:
It’s a unique cushion (the only one in the world); I call it ‘The Queens’ Throne’ because it was made specially for her majesty to sit on during a ceremony of welcome at the national stadium when she visited the Pacific Island Nation of Kiribati in 1982.
My wife and I were invited guests to that welcome-ceremony where we were provided with a small cushion to make the tiered concrete seating-surfaces of the National Stadium more comfortable.
The Queen too had to sit on concrete! But she was provided with a very special cushion … ‘The Queen’s Throne’. It was a magnificent creation; quite large … the size of a typical sofa cushion that you might find in your own home. Here it is, in my private museum collection:

Right now, that ‘throne’ is with me in Australia where it takes its place in my small private museum collection. I’d like to return it to her majesty in this Platinum Jubilee Year, or if that fails, present it for display in a major Museum (perhaps in the UK?). Am I dreaming?
If you have a sharp mind, you may also be wondering: ‘Why this special ‘throne’ is here in Australia?’, and, ‘How is it that I have it?’, and ‘Does it really belong to me?’
The reason for it being here in Australia is described in another of my other stories: ‘The Royal Throne: I rescued it!’, written and published in 2021. (I’ll put a link to that story at the end of this one).
‘I rescued it’ … yes, that’s why I’ve got it, but what do I do now? I really would like to ‘return it’ to its rightful owner, but how? All suggestions welcome. You can email me your suggestions with this link. Can you help me?
If you haven’t yet read the actual rescue story, just click on this link for all the details: It's a True Story … and the ‘throne’ is real!
Do let me know if you think you can help, and if not … just enjoy the story. Fred.
