Happiness Pearl
Of Moments Fragile

Of thought is life ,and strength & breath:and the want, of thought is death; Then am I a happy fly, If I live,or if I die” ― William Blake, Songs of Innocence and of Experience
Draped in grey, the afternoon descends, Hazy near, creator’s brush blends Shedding their tears, silver-lined nimbus makes their way, Let all reckonings leave the bay, for a day —
After-shower asphalt, aqua-pool mirroring the old Neem, Quivering shadow touched by the diminishing stream, That moist sparrow on boughs sit unconcerned, Complains classified find no place in firmament churned,
Exterior wrapped in drench it weighs, Day dimmed, uninvited shower finds a way, Moments desolate return on wings astray, Window ledge, home to mind in stray…..
Grammar of soul — a subject, rain only courts, Ciphering laws, they never hold fort, Wobbly rays pirouette on foliage’s curl, Safe in the mind-oyster it resides —
O! Those shimmering happiness-pearl!
Author’s Note: “Flow with whatever may happen and let your mind be free” — Chuang Tzu.
Untimely rain.Global warming, glacier melting, ocean temperature rising notwithstanding, provide impetus for poetry.
Always. Without exception. Like it did today.
