Goodbye To Waves; A Cheek’s Remark — Sightseer’s Poems

The Sea Watched Me — Tastily, I Watched It, Implicity.

Edvard Munch, Lady from the sea
Edvard Munch — The Mermaid

The miles come —

The naughtiness of impending clocks

Tick duly on my hourly repose —

Watch — and watch I so ado

In the seas; an ambling sailboat parts

The cherished foam that slips

Us all asunder, ye who cross

That emendation

Of sky from the sea —

Waves to come — waves to be;

Waves theretofore —

The vain corrupt —

A cheek’s remarked —

Blessed with indiscretion;

To be hidden without bountiful heights —

Vital compliance

The rash of his voice —

Sends me a-sauntering to the shackles of torment

Floundering in its ever-going tumble;

See here — the seabirds, the endless albatross

The burnt umber reckless in the firmament by

Lacking all holy —

Is it gnashing because it is the unsentimental truth?

Likelihoods prescribe us a frowning, firm Yes to that!

The adipose slumps to the ground — the beached remains drowned

On the ardent sands; bouncing the grimace, to the cheeks on the right

To the cheeks on the left —

Crowding down on the Dutch lands;

Swedish to mention, in its ordained ministry — ’tis my luck, child!

Waves to come — waves to be;

Waves theretofore —

The vain corrupt —

A cheek’s remarked —

The scalpel to chair

The munching coming down just

To bedazzle you with some occult meaning —

Quaint is the tiny figure, so black to the sea’s tardy rage

It almost seems pointless to even try and find you —

Waves to come — waves to be;

Waves theretofore —

The vain corrupt —

A cheek’s remarked —

The Sea Watched Me — Tastily, I Watched It, Implicity —

Pushing eagerly with the solvable

Manner of tongues —

Manner of oceans —

The literature crew of Edwardian presence

Presses madly —

The dispossessed in the tens of millions

Behold naught to the shoddy digress

Of penned flowers to paper —

What whittling — what class; hurray men!

Waves to come — waves to be;

Waves theretofore —

The vain corrupt —

A cheek has just remarked.

Implicit falls his name to mine
