Over the past few months, freelance content writing has become a viable side income stream for many of us. I am easily making $4000 to $6000 a month, and to give proper time to writing, I have already quit my full-time job.

You don’t need special skills, a degree, and experience to work with them. You just need high-speed internet, a peaceful and airy room to sit in, and a firm grip over the English language.

WritersDomain
WritersDomain is one of my favorite platforms. It has a bunch of writing jobs and pays higher than any other content writing mill. If you are considering this platform, let me tell you that the application and requirements are strict. I suggest you apply only if you are experienced and belong to the United States, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Canada, France, or Australia.
Any writer whose age is 18 years or more can click on the Register option to get started. You must provide your correct name, payment details, and other basic information. You may be asked to provide a degree and ID/passport for verification purposes. Once the application is submitted, WritersDomain will ask you to submit a sample of 400 to 500 words. You may also have to pass the grammar test. A response is given in two to three working days.
The Payment System
WritersDomain has a unique payment system. It pays on a monthly basis via PayPal. You may receive your money instantly once you earn $100 or more. Writers usually earn $0.02 to $0.05 per word. However, the actual amount depends on your rating.
- 3-Star — A writer with a 3-star rating is given $12.25 per 400 words.
- 4-Star — You will get $14.75 per 400 words if you are a 4-star content writer.
- 5-Star — The site pays $15.50 per 400 words to those who get positive reviews and have 5 stars.
- 4-Star Premium — You can earn up to $28.75 per 600 words if you become a 4-star premium writer.
- 5-Star Premium — Get $32.50 per 600 words if your profile is upgraded to the level called the 5-star premium.
A writer who writes two 400-word articles every weekday can easily make $490 per month. The more you write, the higher will be your earnings.
Textbroker
You must have heard the name of Textbroker. It is a famous content mill that provides the content to eBay, Staples, and Yoast. It hires writers on a regular basis and offers content in more than 20 languages. You can apply for a writing job if you live in the United States or the United Kingdom. The site does not accept writers from other parts of the world.
People living in non-supported countries can apply on behalf of their relatives or friends living in the United Kingdom or the United States. A writing sample needs to be submitted that will be graded in a couple of days. Once the writer account is approved, you can begin making money.
The Payment System
Like WritersDomain, Textbroker has a rating system, often referred to as writer’s level. How much you can earn depends on the level of your account.
- Level 2 — You will receive 0.7 cents per word ($3.50 per 500 words) if your account is on the second level.
- Level 3 — Writers at this level are paid 1.0 cents per word ($5.00 per 500 words).
- Level 4 — If you are a level 4 writer, Textbroker will pay you 1.4 to 1.78 cents per word ($7.00 to $8.90 per 500 words).
I am already working on Textbroker, and I have never seen a shortage of writing jobs. Longer tasks are paid higher and better than short essays and articles. You can earn up to $5000 a month by writing content full-time and by maintaining a good level.
