The guest post this publication accepts has to be great, and if you cannot write superior quality content, you can submit plain yet interesting fiction and non-fiction stories.

Clubhouse’s 32-page online magazine has been designed to entertain, teach and inspire children aging from 8 years to 12 years. The magazine is read by over 100,000 young people every month. Parents also turn to Clubhouse to gain information on how to raise their children well, what to feed them and how to help their kids maintain good relationships with one another.

The target audience of Clubhouse is parents, teenagers, and children who are looking for tips and tutorials on family, love, and relationships. Adventure, humorous, and action stories are also accepted, depending on the overall quality.

Fiction

Clubhouse features fiction stories in every issue. They always look for educational, fresh, and creative stories, especially the ones that could provide children with interesting information. If you are mentioning certain characters in your story, make sure your characters are named properly and are well-developed.

As a fiction writer, you can submit the following articles.

1. Contemporary articles with ethnic or multicultural settings. The length of each article should be 1800 to 2000 words.
2. Science-fiction and fantasy content without any graphical descriptions of sorcery and evil creatures. Each article should have a minimum of 1800 words.
3. Historical fiction can also be submitted that features Christians of ancient times. Each story should have 900 to 1800 words.
4. Select your own adventure story with a length of 1800 to 2000 words.

Non-Fiction

In addition to fiction stories, you can submit nonfiction content. Clubhouse keeps looking for unique, interesting, and engaging non-fiction articles from writers with diverse backgrounds. These stories should be related to real-life kids and need to have a Christian angle, but they should not be overbearing. It is integral for your story to have clear concepts. Each nonfiction story should either have 400 to 500 words or 800 to 1000 words.

Here is what you can submit to Clubhouse.

1. Personality features of ordinary children doing extraordinary things.
2. Short and funny how-to content (like how to make good friends in school, how to get excellent grades, etc.).
3. You may also submit an activity theme page with three to five interesting things for children to do.
4. Quizzes: true/false or multiple-choice questions. These should teach children different biblical concepts or character traits.
5. Interviews with noteworthy Christians are also accepted. They can be athletes, celebrities, or politicians.
6. Fact-based stories having a Christian viewpoint are accepted. These stories should convey messages related to biblical archeology, apologetics, or Christian morals and values.
7. Recipe ideas are accepted that center around a particular holiday or theme.

Aspiring writers cannot submit the following items.

1. Bible stories.
2. Biographies that contain textbook-style or encyclopedia details.
3. Educational and science stories that have no Christian insights.

What About Payments?

It is the most important aspect. Isn’t it? Well, Clubhouse pays 15 to 25 cents per word to new writers, depending on the amount of editing needed. If your work does not require major editing, you may get $200 to $300 per fiction and $150 to $200 per non-fiction.

Writers have to sign a contract and are paid only when their work is accepted and published. The mode of payment is unknown, so I suggest you contact them directly. Please remember that published stories are not accepted by Clubhouse.
