Go For Your Big Dreams
How To Find The Path Of Faith

“Having a dream is like having sunshine. Without it, you cannot see as clearly. With it, your world shines. Have a dream, and the light will fill your eyes with hope.” ― J.R. Rim
Lately, it seems I have not allowed myself to go for my dreams. Old feelings of not being safe have come up in my mind.
These emotions surface when I am on the cusp of trying new things.
I just started a strength training program with a personal trainer this month. I am challenging myself to submit to different publications, and there is a writing contest to ponder.
When the universe gently pushes you towards your dreams, sometimes you may want to flee.
However, the best thing to do is to trust.
We must remind ourselves it is safe to go for our dreams. We are the only ones who can stake claim to them. They are part of our purpose and destiny.
Here are three ways to dive back into your dreams
These are all ways I plan on helping myself develop strength and courage to go for my goals.
Visual Contract With the Universe:
This is an idea I saw in a magazine I bought to read while on vacation. I loved this idea because I studied art in college and love visuals.
It is a different type of vision board. On it, you create two distinct sections.
The first section is for your dreams.
Cut out pictures of things you want to achieve or places you want to go. Add in everything that you want, without limits.
The second section is for giving back.
Add in photos of things you will do daily, weekly, or monthly to help others. Make sure you can uphold this promise to the universe.
I love this idea because it creates a concrete way of giving and receiving. I plan on making one of these boards this month to promise myself and the universe that I will not give up on my aspirations.

Daily Promise Prayer:
This is a mantra or prayer you can say each morning at breakfast or while having your daily coffee or tea.
An example:
Today I pray that I may show up as my best self. I can do the work I am meant to do and fulfill my purpose. My calling is to uplift others while growing my heart and spirit. I am here to shine a bright light on the world. I can only do that if I do my work with love. Thank you for this opportunity to spread my message of hope.
I encourage you to write your own daily promise prayer to yourself. Just writing this one has given me the courage to keep going.

Minimum Goals:
Some days can fill up quickly with many chores and a long to-do list. However, what if there were an easier way to fit goals into the day?
Especially in the summer, life is busier than usual.
There is travel, guests, get-togethers, a garden to care for, and more. All of those things are lovely, but they can leave less room for dreams.
Instead, for this month, I am setting minimum goals. These will help me move a step closer each day, without stress.
An example of a minimum goal might be:
I will write 500 words per day and read and comment on 5 articles.
It is less than I usually do, but I feel it allows me some breathing room.
How can you set a minimum goal to keep moving forward, even during busy times?
