Glimpses From The Glacier National Park
Sharing some interesting findings

Let’s visit Glacier National Park today.
It’s located in Montana state, USA.
It’s closed in winter months and open to the public for a few months in summer. I had visited it during a July 4th weekend.
Lake McDonald is stunning, with sparkling blue water and mountains on the horizon. You can see colorful pebbles at the lake shore. I have heard that at certain times of the year, in this region, you can see the aurora borealis too!
Bighorn sheep live in flocks in the snowy mountains. That day, a rowdy flock was prowling in the parking lot of Logan Pass, looking for a fight with people. I have seen bighorn sheep in the arid, hot San Diego desert. So, they are pretty adaptable, isn’t it?

Logan Pass is a high elevation area in the park. It was blanketed in snow even in summer.

The Going-to-the-Sun road is an engineering marvel that passes through the Rocky Mountains. Below is a view of the deep valley from a vantage point.

Often, we came across flocks of wild horses. It was a delight to watch the mustangs.
