Geeky The Cat’s Travel Log: Alliance Interstellar Cruiser
A trip through space with the Octopians
And remember, even in a galaxy far, far away, there’s always time for a cat nap.

About the Geeky the Cat
Geeky, also known as Geeky The Cat, is a cat with exceptional intelligence who works as an aide to the Alliance Galaxy’s Supreme Office of Agriculture. His primary responsibility is to assist his master in overseeing the vast agricultural matters of the galaxy.
Aside from his professional obligations, Geeky is an avid traveler, taking advantage of any opportunity to visit different planets and cities that his hectic schedule allows.
The Pickup
Just when I thought I had enough seafood and activities in the Molluscapian star system, the head office of the Alliance Galaxy had other plans.
A mighty Alliance Interstellar Cruiser (AIC) swung by to pick me up from my current spot, planet Orbehellist. It’s a quaint human planet, nestled in the Molluscapian star system and a place I admired.
But duty calls, and the next stop on my interstellar adventure will be an intergalactic space station a few hundred light years away.
It’s not the journey that had me in a twist, but the destination. The station is home to the Reptilian senators. No offense to them, but they can be a bit… excessively elitist. Their ultra-rich lifestyles and opulence get a bit too much for a humble cat like me.
The ride here, however, is another story.
It’s aboard the AIC, a space cruiser co-developed by the Octopians and humans. The Octopians, though, have done most of the heavy lifting, approximately 70% of Octopian technology, to be precise.
Octopians, for those of you who don’t know, look like octopuses. They’ve even mastered living outside water; some have gone as far as incorporating human DNA, transforming themselves into human-octopus hybrids. Why do they want to look like humans is beyond me. But I tell you, this is like something straight out of a science fiction story!
They’re kind-hearted and loyal extraterrestrial species. They’re instrumental in shaping the human race’s space exploration journey.
If it weren’t for the Octopians, humans would still be confined to their home planet, ignorant of the vastness of the universe.
But here’s the thing that tickles me: why the Octopians chose to partner with humans and not cats, I’ll never understand.
After all, who has a better track record of hunting octopuses? Exactly, yeah! At least we, the cats, don’t have a reputation for eating our co-pilots.
The Octopian influence is everywhere on the cruiser, from the technology and interior decor to the crew members donning neurotransmitter biomechanic devices, connecting their thoughts directly with the Octopians.
Octopians have a neuro-core technology that connects the minds of living beings onboard the ship to “synchronize” and optimize its operation. It’s also a formidable technology to coordinate the defense and attack when dealing with hostile enemies.
It’s quite a sight to see humans and Octopians working together, seamlessly interpreting complex computational models for better control and maneuvering of the ship.
I had the pleasure of meeting Captain Ellyise, the lady in charge of this impressive vessel, and her key crew members, Rebecca and Dr. Aierynien. They run a tight ship, the model AIC Octo-782X.
One thing you should know about Octopians, aside from their love for advanced technology, is their pragmatism.
They’re hardworking, so don’t expect many entertainment areas aboard the AIC Octo-782X.
But they cater to their passengers’ needs with a gym, lounge area, and relaxing indoor garden.
Virtual reality helmets are also available for entertainment or for those who miss their home planet to experience it.
And let’s not forget the Octopian bots. A whole army of them are onboard, tirelessly working to keep the ship running smoothly. Some are highly specialized to perform specific tasks that are either dangerous or repetitive (boring) for both Octopians and humans.
Just as I was settling in, getting used to the omnipresence of Octopian technology, an announcement from the chief engineer jolted me.
“Dear passengers, we will be entering hyperspace in 5 minutes. Repeat, 5 minutes.”
We are about to jump into hyperspace. My fur stands on end; a rush of adrenaline courses through my veins. It’s time to hold on tight and brace for the ride.
So, until next time, my curious reader. As I always say, stay curious.
And remember, even in a galaxy far, far away, there’s always time for a cat nap.
