Who knew the humble allium could produce such a marvellous bloom. Garlic, chive, leek, onion, scallion, kitchen staples we all consume Gardner don’t you turn your back, your alliums might start bolting. Too hot, too cold, the weather’s lack means butterfly wings unfolding. Better yet, sow an extra set just for the bees and birds. No such thing as gardener’s regret when sharing what nature confers.
