You think you know me. You think you see me. Right down deep to the heart of me.

But, you don’t. Your vision betrays you.

There is no knowing me. There is no seeing me. I stay hidden, under cover of night.

Bolstered by the dark, I bloom and bear fruit.

Sometimes bitter, sometimes sweet. Seductive in its quest to pull you in. Because, “truth” has only one version.

Does it hurt? Rattle your cage? You tell me.
