Each week, in the town of Sindale, a different doorstep receives the package. A ritual with no traceable beginning. This week is Billy Pickering’s turn.

He opens the box and removes the contents with dread yet morbid curiosity. The instructions inside are simple: wind and wait.

Billy winds the old Victrola in preparation. It doesn’t require a disc. Each week, the old machine’s horn blasts a new episode from the Netherworld.

At 10 AM the manic host shouts, “Welcome back, contestants! Today’s lucky game: Buckshot Roulette!”

Billy’s heart hammers in his chest. He looks at the revolver on the table.
