From Medium Partner to Become a Friend of Medium

In late August 2023, I joined the medium partner program. During this period, all hell was breaking loose on the platform because of a recent change to partner program members earnings.

I was a newbie to the platform and I couldn’t understand what the fuss was all about.

As time went by, I recognised that there was a disparity between the earnings each writer received. However, that didn’t deter me from proceeding on the platform.

Fast forward to the end of November 2023. Medium is now introducing a new program to, “Become a Friend of Medium.”

At this moment in time, I’m just barely making ends meet as a Medium Partner and now I’m being asked to become a Medium Friend.
